Most reception staff were good, however the room needed a good clean and most parts of the resort need a face lift. Would not reccomened for families with children under the age of 10 or elderly people as there is no lift. The breakfast room staff were amazing and extremely helpful. It's fantastic the pool has a pool bar however be aware that is only open for 5 hours a day and at least an hour of that the staff also need to have a break. Would have appreciated if the staff actually approached us in regard to drinks in the pool that were in cans rather sending passive aggressive emails throughout the stay.
Had a few small issues with room cleanliness approached the staff and was put in a new room straight away the hotel is dated in my opinion and needs work. But the service I got from Thomas was great thank you. More options inhouse would be great like the ability to get a massage etc. we stayed here 20years ago for our honeymoon and had these options.
First impressions lobby looks very impressive. Unusual layout of rooms. Some upstairs and some downstairs. No lifts. We needed an accessible room however when we checked in we were given a room down 2 flights of stairs. Also the room was right next to the pool and very noisy. This was not going to work so hubby went back to reception and spoke to a different person who quickly gave us another room with easy access and no stairs. The rooms are nice enough, basic with a kettle, hair-dryer and fridge. Not serviced but you can change your towels at reception when ever you want. There is BBQ area. The pool is very large and there is a spa both of which have tinny floaty bits like mossy stuff in them so needless to say we only swam once. It's situated about 5 mins from the town with plenty of transport options. Continental Breakfast is available $25/p. Would we stay here again ... probably not.
I couldn’t find anywhere on ur website to leave a commendation for staff.nLuisa at this hotel is exceptional… she arrived at breakfast and totally refreshed the place within 5 mins replacing food, cutlery, crockery, getting machines working and helpful and polite to customers all the while. Definitely a keeper!nAdding Kirsten to the staff keeper list - so welcoming and helpful on reception. Thanks team - definitely put the shine on the stay.
Stayed for 5 nights with my partner for our anniversary and had the most amazing time. All of the staff, especially at reception and lagoon bar were so lovely and helpful. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms but it was clean and nice. The pool was beautiful and the continental breakfast was exceptional. Will definitely be recommending to all my friends.
