I had the most amazing time at the Portsea. We stayed for 5 days and found location to town was great. The pool was huge and staff were friendly. Our group stayed in the 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom studio and the size was perfect for the amount of people in each room. Well worth staying when in Port Douglas

The best room and service ever. we have been going to Port Douglas every year for about 4 years now and we always stay in a lagoon room being a room where the pool is right on you door step. The room is extremely spacious and the hotel is extremely close to town. Mantra Portsea is the best hotel for these reasons. Also the pool area is amazing and I always meet heaps of new people.

The facilities are clean. It has a tropical holiday resort feel and the swimming pool is quite nice. Its located not too far from the main Port Douglas shopping/dining strip. Will be back here again in the future.

The hotel is beautiful to look at and the staff are lovely. It just seems lacking in a few areas; The rooms without balcony's are very small, the wifi charges are expensive, there isn't daily room service and the pool bar is average. In saying that, the beds are comfy, the pool is great and the location is spot on! :)

Absolutely disgusted with this apparent 4 star hotel, first of all they wanted extra payment just to clean our room or change sheets even though we paid for 2 weeks stay and the overall cleanliness was questionable at the least! Secondly we had to complain twice about feaces floating in the pool! Thirdly the manageress Michelle was extremely rude! Rooms were very basic, pillows old and dirty... no free WiFi as advertised! We have stayed in better road side hotels who come around every 3 days to change sheets complimentary! Would never recommend this establishment!
