Story

Mantra Lounge is a cozy, cool cafe, just over the road from Melbourne Uni on Grattan St. You'll usually find Mantra Lounge packed with students, lectures and the local Carlton crew, queuing up for a delicious vegan meal. Chill in our upstairs lounge or sit outside in the sun. Mantra Lounge also offers Kirtan Meditation Night, Think out loud philosophy discussions, yoga and much more. Come on in and check out our awesome space for yourself!

Yummy food finally OPEN! I had a vegan butter chicken today. Tasted better than ever! Nicely packed for take away. Highly recommended place!

Cosy and delicious food, not oily or salty. Great flavours and very fresh.

My favourite place to eat near work; friendly service and delicious, nourishing food. Butter 'chicken', the satay bowl and 'cheezy' pasta are must haves. The brownies are pretty good too!

Local plant based vegan and vegetarian friendly cafe reinvented, now offering specialty coffee and freshly prepared breakfast and lunch options.

Always enjoy the food here. Fresh, tasty and a good price. One of my favourite regular places for a quick bite.

Staff are nice, it's a 100% vegan restaurant, i ordered the butter chicken, I enjoyed the taste but found the prices a bit high

Ordered chai and an almond cake - chai was great, cake was not. The decor is cosy and kind of looks like a hostel in India

Nice and affordable vegan food 

Butter "chicken" is super delicious! Chickpea curry isn't quite on the same level, but also tasty. Staff has always been friendly when I was there.
