I recently discovered one amazing place in Melbourne University called House of Cards. They have an interesting concept that a certain percent of their revenue goes to charity and you can choose which charity your purchase will be given to. While ordering a coffee you will get a card which you can drop in any box you find more suitable for your karma. By the way, the coffee and pastry are really good. Plus the charity game makes it more interesting and gives you an additional purpose to order something. Even though I'm not a student but I'll probably come back to visit this place again.
Honestly, the best coffee place on campus. The only flaws I can genuinely offer is: A the wait times can get pretty crazy, but it’s warranted with how good it is. Sometimes you’ll need to wait 15-20 minutes. B The location. Unless you have class nearby, it isn’t entirely feasible to just walk over during short breaks, as it can take some time. The charity idea is great, and helps with the idea of doing something good a day. Plus, the staff here are great. The coffee is good, but it isn’t the holy grail. Overall, I recommend it for a good on-campus coffee
Located in the UoM campus. Serve great coffee. The staff were friendly. Instead of an order number you receive a play card. after you receive the order you can choose a cause box to contribute to help.

Best coffee on campus hands down! Also great snacks and a fun system that gives you some say. Makes you feel good about your addiction.
Great coffee and fantastic service, straight dropped my coffee seconds after getting it and they rushed out a new one in a few moments.
We spend time for cup of coffee and hot chocolate, during raining time. Very strategic location.
My favourite coffee place on campus. The staff is super friendly and they‘re serving fantastic coffee for a decent price. I absolutely love the “card for a good cause“ theme and the projects they’re donating to. Thumbs up for you guys!
This is a great, ethical coffee shop in a convenient location. The staff are friendly, it is reasonably priced and the coffee tastes good. The only down side is waiting time as usually there is a queue so you may be late to class.
