About

Welcome! We are open Thursdays 7.30pm to 9pm and Saturday 10am to 12 noon each week.
We are closed for a summer break from Saturday 16th Dec 2017 and are open for Saturdays ONLY in January commencing from January 13th 2018.

Story

Run by its members, the Manningham Toy Library is a friendly place where parents and carers can borrow a large variety of fun, quality educational toys, puzzles and games on a regular basis. Our toys mostly cater for children aged from 3 months to 6 years. Joining has many benefits, including being able to borrow our fabulous party packs.

You can apply for membership via our website http://manninghamtoylibrary.org.au or come and have a look around the library and join up there. Parents, grandparents and carers are eligible to join but unfortunately we do not cater for groups. Please note that we don't have EFTPOS or credit card facilities, only cash or bank deposit.

We are closed Easter weekend and over the Christmas/New Year break.

Love this place. Such a comprehensive collection of toys for all ages. And so many new board games, great for teenagers and adults. My kids love the toy library especially all the puppet show kits and I love borrowing big items and then returning them and having a tidy house a win for everyone!nSuch great value, an excellent gift idea and good for the environment.
We only found this place like three weeks ago, but we've already in love with it so much! There are tons of great toys to choose from, they're mostly in very good condition. The room was not very big, but the toys were nicely organised on the shelf. Staffs and volunteers were very helpful and friendly, made you feel very welcomed. We came back every week to borrow new toys, it surely saved us lots of money! Highly recommended.
We love our toy library! It has saved our family so much money and reduced clutter, and provided a whole new approach to toys for our kids. The fortnightly trip to the Toy Library is an anticipated event in our house and the kids get so excited on Tuesday mornings knowing that if they tidy the play room and clean our borrowed toys we can swap them for new ones. It’s amazing how quickly they get used to the idea of giving back toys, and sharing them with others, even recommending their favourites to other kids! There is a huge range of toys games puzzles vehicles costumes and activities that is constantly being updated. In the three years we’ve been members we have barely scratched the surface in exploring the great range. It’s also a wonderful community of volunteer parents and grandparents with regular social events and is a wonderful way to connect with local families. Very affordable membership, highly recommend.
Great selection of toys, keeps the kids entertained with lots of different things. Helpful staff who recommended suitable toys. They also have party hire stuff!
Thank you to all the volunteers who keep this library organised and well maintained. Our kids always find something interesting.
