I can't thank the nursing staff, the doctors,the allied health, the domestic staff and the wonderful pink ladies enough! My elderly mum was in base Taree Base Hospital for a long period and she was fortunate enough to encounter some of the best team of health staff available. They displayed a friendly positive and respectful attitude towards my Mum at all times. I am so grateful. Young Whitney was a smiling presence every day. I am sure she will go far. Thank you Taree Hospital! PS I called one young Dr the Bold and the Beautiful as he was so handsome and so kind,

Have to travel to John hunter hospital because Taree cannot fit me in to physiothapy till the middle of March 2018 even after the head Physio requested a weekly appointment the joys of living in the country and a pathetic country hospital. Both dr David gelespie and Steven bromhead have refused to help. Steven bromhead told me it will take 6-8 weeks to write a letter on my behalf to Taree hospital. (SLOW TYPER) Good to see that the two members are looking after our best interests. NO they are peddling there own barrow and don’t care about the community

Terrible experience. Waited almost 5 hours in ED in severe pain. Did not get to see a doctor. Left and went to another town for help. Very dirty floors, walls, blood on a chair which had run off and dripped onto the floor. An average of 1 patient per hour was seen. Disgraceful.

Everyone is quick to complain about our hospitals, staff and the treatment received, but I would like to say that I brought my husband in here this afternoon at 4.30pm with cardiac troubles and he could not have received more efficient, professional and prompt care. He was seen straight away, had a multitude of tests, ECGs, blood tests, chest x-rays, etc. and I could not have asked for better treatment. Bear in mind that this is Monday of the June long weekend. We are still here but that is only because of all the tests and procedures that need to be carried out before my husband can go home. Bravo to all the Doctors, nurses and other staff at Manning Base Hospital's ED!!! You are all an awesome lot of professional, caring individuals. Thank you for taking such good care of my husband, Ashley. Susan Mison.

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the Taree Manning Base Hospital Staff who cared for me this morning. I was transported by ambulance to the hospital at about 5.15/5.30am Thu05Jan17 with chest pain. The night shift staff and the day shift staff who cared for me were all courteous, professional and friendly. I felt grateful to have been looked after by them.
