The parking is the best compared to many other regional hospitals. The Emergency staff were nothing but exceptional, Surgical -2 on level I. The staff were the best I have ever seen. Thank you for looking after my ex-partner. I will forever be grateful.
After taking each of my children in for emergency care after accidents- one in November last year and one today, I Pilsner recommend Tamworth Emergency more. Both times we were triaged promptly, dealt with professionally and helpfully and in good time. Every member of staff I came into contact with were outstanding. Thanks for the great care for my children when they needed it most.
Absolutely horrendous service by all morning staff members on Monday 22nd August 2022. I was unable to sit because of how much pain I was in, they nurses left me in the emergency room crying for hours with no pain relief. Then when I asked for pain relief, they acted as if they did not know who I was, they refused antibiotics and now I have a infectious with poison through out my body. DO NOT GO HERE!!
I had a fantastic experience in the maternity ward when I had my son. 98% of the nurses were so helpful and caring. Meals were great too! I've had great experiences with the emergency department over the years too.
Amazing experience. Doctors and nurses were prompt, attentive, compassionate, transparent and go above and beyond. Hospitality staff, cashier, and orderlies were all so friendly and helpful. Could not fault a single person in this facility, if I could list all their names I would. Special thanks to the cashier Deidre for helping me with accommodation everyday and for lending an ear for me to unload, to Nephrologist Malcolm Green and his team, Dr Thin and her team and every other doctor and nurse in the ICU, ED and Med 2, I would feel very confident having a loved one in their care again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I would like to publicly thank the Team and especially the nurses of Tamworth Hospital. I was diagnosed with something that needed to be fixed, I was fortunate to be fast tracked through the system. Every step, contact and correspondence with the hospital was amazing, even with the tyranny of distance involved as I am rural and about 180 minutes drive away, being rural and the virus. Thankyou so much for what you did for me, I am forever grateful for the care and compassion I was shown. Thank you all so much <3
Just want to say thank you very much to the doctors and nurses in the cardiology ward who looked after my mum, Mrs Harris. Very grateful to you, its so nice to know shes home recovering now. She said you were all very nice to her.
Such a shame that the sence of urgency for infants has gone out the window since covid. My 1 year old couldn't stop coughing to the point she couldn't breath and vomited , she'd had the flu 1 week prior but had a left over cough, worse at night time. I took her in as nothing I did would stop the cough. 9 people infront with no worry in the world. I thought I'd get there quicker than an ambulance but now I wished I had called them instead. The lady asked me if I spoke about the systems of the baby in my arms as she was smiling at the time of triage which I found a little rude. What happened to the times where infants/baby's got priority with respiratory problems. Its a shame.
I had to go to the ED Department when on holidays.I found the care of all staff exceptional. They were kind, caring and professional checking to see if I was alright while waiting and providing me with pain killers until I saw the Dr who was so good at explaining what had to be done.I was not treated like a number from reception right through. Local people should be grateful for having a great hospital and should dispose of their masks in the appropriate way and say thanks.
This is Mel Davenport, Katie's mum. I use this phone now. I have just spent the last 7 weeks in Tamworth's rehab ward, after a fall at home. In all honesty, I can say that my stay there was great, even though I'd didn't want to b there. The nurses were very kind and considerate at all times, day and night. They put up with me and my dramas, mood swings etc, which were very many in numbers. Doctors were good too. The ward was always kept clean and organised. Food was always delicious and was catered to my many needs, even cut up as I couldn't do so myself. As I couldn't get around by myself, shower myself etc, this had to b done for me, which made me uncomfortable at times, when it was done so by male nurses. They were kind and professional at all times, it was just me that felt funny at first, but as time passed, I grew more comfortable with this procedure lol. In all, the hospital and their many staff in considerable number were great and made my lengthy stay very comfortable. That's to Ward 11. You were all great people!!
