I have recently moved to town and went to the hospital earlier last month with tonsillitis I went again today with gastro. I was absolutely blown away with how beautiful and friendly the staff were I felt prioritised and listened to. They constantly asked if I wanted anything and if I was okay. All the staff were just lovely! And sent me home feeling so much better

I have been sick with a flu, chest infection then head cold for 15 days unable to get to see a doctor in Moree, or any of the close country towns except Tamworth where I was too sick to drive 6 hrs round trip to see a doctor. I did a telehealth doctor appt in the first week and was prescribed antibiotics and still went to work as can't get a docs certificate via telehealth for my work. So hard when you have not got a doctor and can't get into a doctor. So by the 15th day I was becoming more sick where I couldn't breath very well and had a rushing sensation in my chest for a couple of hours after work. Never had this feeling before and decided I have no option but to go to emergency at Moree Hospital. When I arrived I was surprised it wasnt full , only a couple of people waiting. No signs of a receptionist or what to do. So I sat down and a man waiting told me I have to fill in a form on the bench, so guess thats not great, however when i was  filling it out a nurse came out and asked for my paperwork and I hadn't finished it yet and she said she'll be back for it. I was half not wanting to stay thinking I'll be fine soon, feels silly to be at Emergency but I had no other options really. The nurse returned shortly after and ushered me into a back room and fully sorted me out, gave me ventilon and a spacer and liquids and then doctor was in within 30mins and I was prescribed meds and i was actually seen to. Faster than going to a local GP. They took swabs of my throat and nose for PCR tests and all. Her name was Trish and she had the best bedside manner, and I was thinking there are such things as angels in this world. Very greatful she was there that night.  Also the doctor was thorough which I appreciate so much. Thanks Moree Hospital staff.

I was admited in Moree hospital in the emergency department from Friday night till Saturday afternoon. During the night all the nurses and Dr are very helpful but when morning came,  Dr J. Shou  took over from the night shift.nnShe was rude,  but also inconsiderate to her patients. She was unwilling to speak to me,  and kept making the nurses be her mouth piece. Even when she did speak to me,  she was far away and did not explain my condition well, like not telling me which part of my fracture occurred, nor did she follow up with what the night shift doctor planned for me,  that a orthopaedic will come check on me.nnWhen the Orthopaedic arrived she just inform them that the scans not done and sent them away.nnMy review of one star stands on this doctor J. Shou's performance ALONE, as she is rude,  inconsiderate, and not educated in manners or respects for her patients.nnWhile the rest of staff was very nice,  helpful and considerate.  They helped me with my pain,  and needs accordingly and with respect.nI would like to give them 5 stars but this doctor made it very difficult to give that review when she alone can ruin anyones stay in the hospital.nI feel sorry for her colleagues and nurses who have to put up with her everyday.

Complete and utterly useless been promised that we can have the birth of our child at the hospital up until 2 weeks before we were due. And now out of nowhere sorry you have to go to Thamworth hospital. Jumped through all the loops and all the tests they asked of us. Scans blood test all paying out of our pocket just spring on last minute so if your expecting a baby after May in Moree you will not be able to birth at Moree and will have to drive 3 hours to the closest Hospital.
