Fiona is a very skilled Dental Hygienist who does an extremely good job as well as having a wonderful personality and makes the experience positive. Very informative and good at explaining where my dental health is at and the steps I can take to improve and manage it.
My experiences at the Manawatu Dental Group, both Feilding and Palmerston North, have been exceptional for all members of my family. The level of professionalism demonstrated by all staff members, from the front desk to the incredible dentistry team, have left us feeling respected, impressed and well cared for. They are extremely busy yet take the time to explain everything in depth and are prepared to answer all of our questions around treatment options, costs and outcomes. In the past, I have suffered from anxiety due to condescension from visiting the dentist when I was younger and the team at MDC have put me at ease and helped me to work through these feelings. I can't thank the team at MDC enough for this level of empathy, you truly are stars! I look forward to my next visit and that's not something you hear everyday regarding the dentist. I highly recommend Manawatu Dental Group!
I've been here for the last couple of years and until today I thought they were very good. However I've now been told I'm not registered with them although I thought I was so need to find another dentist! Post Covid-19 they're very busy, very dismissive and just not interested - even for suggesting possible referrals to another dentist.
I had a dental hygiene appointment yesterday 17.05.2019 with an amazing hygienist. I had a lovely lady who originated from Scotland not that this mattered, but I fail to recall her name she was calm, friendly and we were able to bond on common likes. All through the exam she informed me what she was doing, keeping me calm and saw if I was in any pain. She even made jokes when some of the equipment failed to work for a couple mins. I felt well looked after and listened to. I am grateful for the wonderfully skilled people at Manawatu Dental Group as I used to have a major fear of the dentist. Now I barely get nervous, and am able to go every year or when needed.
I've been very happy with Manawatu Dental Group since joining them just under two years ago. For routine maintenance and Invisalign treatment I recommend them.
