He should be sacked. I have not witnessed any ownership from this driver for his role in this incident. He is busily pointing the finger at others to deflect on the seriousness of what he has done. It is not Logan Coaches responsibility to reprimand the Teacher, it is not their responsibility to discuss parenting with the mother. It is their responsibility to ensure that all children are safe in their care and his dismissal shows how seriously they take child safety. The use of the word scapegoat implies that he is the only one suffering in all of this. Again, he is only thinking of himself by using this phrase. I am certain others involved are suffering too, they just aren’t whinging about it.

It wasn't the drivers fault, at least not completely. As A 5 year old shouldn't be catching a public school bus. The teacher at the school was meant to sign off the kids who got on the bus so the driver would know who he was meant to be dropping off but the teacher wasn't there to do that. The mother claims she was at the bus stop but clearly she wasn't. The mother even created a gofund me page to profit out of it so that shows her character... Sure the driver should of checked the bus to make sure all of the kids were off but it wasn't all his fault, it was mistakes from several people that led to the incident. I don't think it is fair that he has been suspended so that's why I'm giving 3 stars

I believe the management of this company did not respond appropriately in regards to the termination of one of their drivers. This man has had a lot of experience as a driver and I believe that the extent to which actions were taken was too far. Looking at the situation in which Ross told his perspective, the mother was never at the bus stop to pick up her 5 YEAR OLD daughter, with sources to prove this ! Not only is it the bus drivers responsibility but it is also the parents responsibility that the child gets home safe. In addition, the teachers failure to appropriately manage the children on the bus was also under standard. I’m sure these teachers did not lose there jobs over this and they are equally, if not even more in the wrong for failure to mark the role properly and supervise the children appropriately. The way in which the situation was handled was very poor and he never deserved to lose his job over this. I believe the suspension was appropriate, but due to other circumstances from the mother and the teachers, he should not receive the majority of the slack.

Certainly not the companies fault, the 5 year old should of been shaperoned or at least a teacher should supervise the boarding, bus drivers have more than enough to do. And the Mother should have been waiting at the Bus Stop to pick up a 5 year old. This is NOT the Bus companies fault!!

That poor man should never have been sacked! Disgusting company! How could you treat a long term employee like that? Will never use your company, and will tell everyone to stay away purely because of what you have done to this driver!
