Lovely big station with small disadvantage: CCTVs simply do not work with a new bicycle parked there. Happened to my bicycle costed me approximately $140
There is always police and plenty of rail staff around to help out. The train station it self is a little run down but considering the crowd that comes by here it is holding up pretty well. The toilets are gross so give them a miss. There is a ramp so you can use if you are in a wheelchair. You can catch the train into the city or down to the gold coast from here, you can also catch buses from here. Overall good train station compared to some around the area.
Well maintained, no one smoking anywhere and for how old it is it it looks very good - as good as old things can look. I have lived here and been to the station just about every day for more than 20 years
Was harassed by 12 officers at beenleigh for a mistake made by gocard issuer translink. Got a 200.00 infringement notice and no staff know what concession entitlements are valid other than a pension card. Threatening staff, rude inspectors who like to man handle innocent members of the public. Complaint filed with TMR and was rewarded with a confirmation of the concession entitlement alongside $6.00 fare adjustment, but still no fine refund or removal. Just a bunch of tossers. Be careful not to double tap or you'll lose $10 credit after 20 minutes - they need to have the accc investigate!
From 5am to 5pm this is a normal station from which you can catch trains. After that you'd best bring your chains and spiked clubs because this place gets rough.
I got the worst service. What am I? Well, I happen to be a kind, attractive and rich young woman. All I wanted was a concession Go card. They ACCUSED me of having a fraudulent eftpos card as well as expired student identification. DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM??? PLEASE?? WHO AM I??? Because apparently I don’t know a damn thing according to these people - Johnny out
Well organised train station. The bus station is just right by the side. Connect your train to Brisbane Airport and the Gold Coast.
Nice serene train station with friendly staff and easy enterance. Trains are rarely late and overall a very nice looking station
Can catch goldcroast bus and local train here. Has ramps for wheelchair and prams.
