Very quiet here today, until I got on the #BRVL train to the Goldcoast and it was packed. But enough seats to go around . And it only cost me 0.50c for the whole trip.nYa gotta love Qld Australia
For anyone giving it more than a 1 star rating clearly has never politely asked the Asian looking woman that works there that your phone's gone flat and could kindly call you a taxi please.... Ive never encountered such blatant rudeness and arrogance like it. And she still won't call you 1...
The one-star reviews for this station are ridiculous. It's a key transit hub connecting the city to the Gold Coast, and anyone who complains probably hasn't been to a major station like Fortitude Valley. It's strange how people get a kick out of complaining about a service they're benefiting from. Get on at Woodridge, talk to your mum till the train comes. The Only exception is every train station should maintain a working elevator for those that have limited mobility.
Have to agree with others. Station has an unsettling feeling of eeriness and despair. All the structures are fenced off to prevent people from loitering in, under and around them. A lot of the people look stereotypical of young, bored and up to no good youths. Even as a full grown adult, would not make it my station of first choice
Staff are unreliable. If you point out that a train never turned up, you will be gaslit into believing that it did. Additionally, the station is unsafe, uncomfortable and a genuine eye-sore.
