At Loco HQ we believe training needs to be enjoyable but sustainable. To achieve anything in life set goals and push past your own self limits.

Story

Loco HQ is the First Indoor Obstacle Race training facility in Australia. Races such as Spartan, Tough Mudder, Stampede, True grit to name a few. This is the place to train!

We not only offer race training but we also have our own Crossfit Box, Outdoor and Indoor group training sessions and Personal Training. We are your one stop shop for all you fitness needs.

With over 17 years experience we know what works! By combining Crossfit, Boxing, Pilates, Functional Movements, Strength and Cardio workouts you will be amazed at the results you will achieve in a short space of time.

I joined loco in July 2017. It was the premiere of Ninja Warrior show in Australia. I’ve always been fascinated with how these people do it. I’ve researched around GC and trialled few CrossFit gyms that offer functional training but nothing that has OCR training and then I saw LOCO HQ on tv. I trialled, and I joined the challenge. I got hooked! It’s been 5 years and I’m still here, so many changes happened, changes for the better and now I am one of the coaches . How about that? That’s how much I love this gym and most of all I love the people. When I joined LocoHq I was still kind of new in GC, and it was difficult to fit in, difficult to find friends, difficult to find gyms. But in LOCO I did not only find a gym that I LOVE , I found FAMILY. Come and join the Loco Familia!
Been with Loco HQ for almost a year now and have loved every minute of being at the gym. Extreamly driven coaches that will help you to achieve any goals you never thought you could of achieved, push you to your absolute limits and give you guidance on how to correctly lift weights without injury. the community is so amazing and they really make you feel at home. I have been at this gym since they opened. The gym isn’t just a Gym, it does become your second family and they are always supportive of your journey. I have trained my post baby journey x2 with some competition training in between when lift permitted, and also some training whilst I was managing injuries and I was always able to train & have a tailored session, and great workout which is the important…. And I always leave smiling. Which is even more important to me.
Amazing environment is a pleasure to be part of the family, I’m feeling more confident than when I started and so happy to see my body different. The coaches support me in every movement and motivate me to give more of myself. I recommended this family for everyone that wants to work in body and mind ‍
We have all been to that gym filled with mirrors, ego and people standing around staring at mobile devices. If that's your jam, fine. Loco HQ does things with YOU in mind first. Owner Paco describes it as 'La Familia' and all but wrapping his arms around you he is definitely a man of his word. Train different, be respected and heard, and stay because they care. At least that's why I have hung around so long. The decision is yours. See you there.
Love this place!! Awesome family run business that make you feel part of the family from the moment you walk in the door. Keep you on track and accountable towards your fitness goals. Great for all fitness levels. 100% recommend.
Paco is a superb trainer and the facility he has created is first class. I’ve known Paco for 7 years and seen him at least once a week over that period. No session is the same and no matter how I’m feeling or body niggles I have, he is able to create a session that challenges you every time. Looking forward to sessions for the next 7 years.
The best gym on the coast! I was new to CrossFit before to train at LocoHQ, since I never felt so strong and fit. But LocoHQ is more than a gym, it’s a community. People are friendly and welcoming. The owners and coaches are amazing, they are knowledgeable and always helpful to make me improve. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
One of most incredible gyms I’ve ever been too. Such a supportive environment and constantly switching it up with workouts. Been here for nearly four years and it’s truly changed my life.
I've been coming to Loco for 8 years, I love it! I've trained through pregnancy and post partum, illness and more. I've always felt supported but also pushed to do things I never thought I could! They are like my family and I had never felt so welcomed and part of a family like I do at Loco!
