Be smart, think twice about L J Hooker Petrie,

At first, they seem as a very friendly work collective, everyone is helpful and they will do anything for you, yes, until you sign the contract. 

My wife and I rented out a brand new 3 bedroom house, located in Young Street, Petrie. It is just us, no pets, no kids, two high educated individuals who spend their Saturdays evening in bed, reading books. We pay our rent two days in advance, on time, with a direct debit, we got a perfect rent paying history, also we take care of the house better than if it was our own. 

What we get for a reward? No internet access what so ever!!!! That’s right, the developer deceived the owner. Developer was saving 400 dollars at the time on cables to connect the 6 new houses he build on one previous block. What happened??? He sold the house without the NBN connection.

Now, let’s get back to L J Hooker, Petrie. I am living in a brand new house, in Brisbane, in the 21st century, without internet, telephone nor Netflix. If the area is NBN ready you can’t get ADSL (plus, even if we could, there is no phone line, probably another saving made by the developer). My wife and I made all calls and preparations needed to get the NBN installation, but in the last 2 months I almost never got an answer from the property manager on my emails at L J Hooker, Petrie, when I or my wife call, first she does not pick up the phone, and after many calls, she picks up and just says “I called the owner I am busy”, or “I’ve got more than one client”. 
Basically, I was told before, that my wife and I were a dream tenants, but I don’t know what to do, except to move AGAIN. Petrie is a nice area, friendly people, but even if you are a great tenant, think twice about L J HOOKER PETRIE. Because everything is good until is good. If you have a problem which needs to be solved, it is upon my experience that Property manager will not do her job (despite she’s payed to do it)

For the home owners, as well for future tenants, BE SMART, and once again, think twice.
