Real Estate Strathpine

Story

Absolute Real Estate, previously known as Deane’s Real Estate was opened in 1999 by Michael Deane, now owned and operated by his son Greg Deane who is now the last ‘Deane’ from the Deane dynasty in the real estate profession with over 15 years experience in the industry. The agency prides itself on using a sales system called the ‘Jenman System’ designed to combine Ethics with Real Estate to promote the development of a better Real Estate industry focused on Client Care.

The success of Absolute Real Estate is owed to Owner and Manager Greg Deane and his amazing team of professionals which include;

The sales team, made up of six sales specialists and two assistants who have over 50 years combined experience.

The rental department made up of three qualified property managers and two assistants that successfully manage over 500 properties. And of course the office would not run as smoothly as it does without our awesome admin team.

These enthusiastic career real estate sales people and property mangers are known for providing a friendly service while delivering the highest of ethical standards to their clients when selling, buying and renting properties.

Response to Greg. Okay mate it seems as though you don't expect responses which is why you think its okay to reveal private information regarding your past clients in a PUBLIC google reviews page. Coming from someone who is a sales and relationship manager for a large marketing firm you guys need to pick your act up! I don't understand what your logic is. You see all of these negative reviews coming in for your company and all you do is try and defend yourself rather than address the obvious issue. I don't know what you consider large Greg but please find some photos attached of the property and find out what other people think. The yard is no bigger than a townhouse courtyard. In no area on the listing have you stated that the property is a sub let. Nor have you provided accurate photos that represent what the house and yard look like now. Due to my line of work I have programs that are able to look at previous states of websites and listings. If you would like further clarification I am more than happy to provide photos of not only the blatant false advertisement (which mind you was taken down as soon as I called) But also I am able to show that there was no mention whatsoever about the separate tenancy in the so called "Large Backyard". “This kind of behaviour falls under the broad umbrella that is the Australian Consumer Law. That states that a product cannot be inappropriately misrepresented in advertising material,” Quote from Real Estate Institute of Australia President Neville Sanders If you would like I'm more than happy to take these matters further send all of this information and evidence to my connections at news corp and really shed some light on your current business practice. Being a business owner myself I don't want to do that but if you do not pick your act up, stop slandering your customers who have given you a review, post photos that accurately represent the CURRENT state of the house and backyard as well as providing an up to date and accurate description of the property. If none of these criteria are met, I will be forced to take these matters to the ACC and my good friend Anna Caldwell from News Corp. I'll be closely watching your listings in future. Do not let this lack of judgement reoccur. Pictured below is the so called "Large Backyard" The first picture with the granny flat was taken to the right of the property which is the entrance for the other tenant who lives in what used to be the backyard. On the right is the "Large Backyard" I'll let the public decide what a "large backyard" looks like. Greg if you think that is "Large" I sure as hell would not want to see what you consider to be a small backyard. The third photo is the backyard that was advertised. It is blatant false advertisement at this point and also a complete disregard for your responsibility to display your properties in an accurate manner. THIS IS NOT A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODEL. You get more and more bad reviews everyday when are you going to wake up and realise there is a reason for that? At what point do you think it's okay to tell the entire review section that Mervat had a debt due to damages? That is a breach of privacy, PCI DSS standards and you can go to court for that alone. If I see any further slanderous, derogatory or revealing statements you can expect a knock on the door from not only the ombudsman but a reporter. If you have any questions feel free to email me, I may be able to assist you in repairing the damage you have done to your current data base and clients relationship. As an example instead of trying to defend yourself like a facebook warrior, respond with this... "Sorry to hear about your negative experience with our company, please fill out this survey to give feedback" From a business owner to a business owner this type of practice can not continue. I would strongly suggest hiring a customer relations spokesman to repair any of the damage that has been caused and try to reassemble the publics opinion on your business. It may be beyond repair now, but the best you can do is try.

Disgusting attitude, the agent was snobbish and rude, did not even bother to answer questions as he already was interested in selling to another client. Brushed me aside saying there are other people he needs to see. I'd be ashamed to have someone like that work for me. Don't even bother renting through these people.

It was very upsetting to be hung up on in regards to errors with Contract. Sales agent refused to comply. Presentation of Contract was unprofessional, details were omitted. Nasty.

Worst experience! Signed for a 6 month lease while selling my house. Was living in the duplex for 4 of the 6 months. Had a bond cleaner come and out twice and still got charged cleaning. Also got charged for damages that were never made and made us live in a non compliant gas utility house as told by Origin and Elgas. Overall would not recommend as it's a very unprofessional and not a pleasent experience. Made to feel almost criminal!
