Nice place, friendlish staff. Pretty standard food and not that much to it really. I had the lamb, while my partner had the salmon and both weren't the largest portions we've had by visiting other places. Although, cooked and presented well. Maybe that's just the way they choose to go about the menu, though we would have liked if it were accompanied by some mash, potatoes or something else to fill you up without having to spend more. On a side note... we did enjoy the curly fries! Extra yummy! So not a bad Valentines dinner out.

We found this place when we were looking for somewhere to have a bite to eat before a show at the Logan Campbell center it's now one of my most favorite little spots in Auckland We ordered a few items from there sharing menu we got the ribs the goat curry and the beef cheeks with a side salad. The service was top class as was the food I loved the lamb ribs I wished I had got the big serve they were that good. We also had some cocktails the wife had a rhubarb sour and I had a rum and ginger both were tasty and made with New Zealand liquor which I thought was cool to see.

Funky little spot that is actually larger than it looks! Cool concept of exclusively NZ made on the menu. Go somewhere else if you want Champagne but if you want to see/taste why homegrown is best, Little Jimmy showcases it well. Modern easy vibe. Very enjoyable.

I visited a few months ago with one Chef who has since left and then again on Friday with the new Chef, but however pretty much the same set menu. I was a little disappointed that after raving to my friends and showing them previous photos that the food was not up to the same standard this time. The croquettes were smaller and not so perfect visually although they tasted good. The desserts were not as exciting and were very sweet compared to the fondant I last had. The portion sizes although acceptable for a voucher were also not as generous as the first time. Maybe the Chef needs a lesson from the old Chef. Service was still great.

We loved it. Great ambience, loved the dark timber and light banquet against the tiled black and white floor with natural light and spectacular chandeliers. The lamb was delicious and the beef cheek was succulent but a little fatty. The chocolate hazelnut caramel dessert was scrumptious. Lightly sparkling mineral water in abundance. The staff were friendly and efficient. A little loud because of the acoustics however we will be back.
