Liquor King

Just setting up the shop under a different brand. Service was adequate. Good specials. I’m sure they will develop some more welcoming customer service once they have settled in.

Place has changed from a Liquor King to a Super Liquor. When I visited last year 2021 it was a Liquor King, now a year later 2022 it is a Super Liquor. I can't say anything about it now as I haven't been in yet but when it was a Liquor King they didn't have the items I had gone in for. Hopefully their range has expanded.

Nice place and awesome staff, he was able to help me to locate the liquors I need very quickly, which I could not find it in the airport and some stores Auckland. Thanks!!!

Nothing wrong with the place itself. Good large selection of everything you need for a good time.....but my wife and I have been to this store on a number of occasions separately and each time have brought a number of items. Trying to carry all your purchases to your vehicle on your own is difficult at times but none of the staff have ever offered to help us take these out. The most recent time I was there this happened to me I just spent over $100 in the store multiple bottles to carry there was only me in there at the time and 2 staff. To me customer service is key and because of these experiences we are not going to purchase from here going forward.

Awesome location , awesome selection of products, had almost every thing I was looking for. Bloody mobile homes / campers were getting the way of getting in and out of the Liquor King off street parking. Otherwise good , will be back again when next in Taupo.

Don’t bother using the website contact form. No response regarding out of date beer purchased before Christmas. Just got a rate our feedback response. Useless customer service

My go to in Taupo. The peach bomb on tap is great - it's like 10 to 12 bucks or something

Can refill beer riggers with craft beer but they can’t fill them properly - when I rang to let them know them know they insisted it was hard to see when the rigger was fill but if it is overflowing with foam not beer then it’s not fill. They need training from brewery staff on how to fill beer bottles properly. Don’t bother just buy bottled beer as you’ll get what you pay for.

Good service, good selection of beers and wine. Modern premise. Above average for a Liquor King store. Best bottle shop in Taupo IMO
