Have been using these guys for a number of years now and every time you require product advice they are more than happy to spend the time with you to make sure you are getting what you require. Couldn't recommend them higher. Will continue to buy though Urban Edge.
Purchased a wakeboard on the weekend. Service was awesome, knowledgeable and super helpful! Made sure we got the right set up for us to both use comfortably. Good to support local too!
INCOMPETENT I recently placed my first and last order with this store. When it did finally arrive, one product differed from what was advertised and the other two were damaged. When questioned a meaningless number was issued, then came the expectation that I would be paying for their error. Initially the reason given was due to the manufacturer supplying the wrong product image [which is BS as every other store globally seemed to get it right], then it was due to a “change of mind” [not mine, I knew exactly what I was ordering], and most recently were hiding behind some misguided text that attempts to circumvent consumer law by excusing “errors and omissions”, in their terms and conditions, which are very contradictory, appear to be cobbled together from other sites/sources and do not feature anywhere throughout the online sales process. While this experience has been protracted and very disappointing personally, mistakes do happen but it’s how they are dealt with that matters, at the very least acknowledgement of the error. Of the multiple interactions I had throughout this process I never really knew who I was dealing with and can’t be sure if they’re actually dishonest and deceitful, or really are just that stupid. Obviously reputation doesn’t mean much to the owners of this business. If I treated my customers this way I would have none.
We are driving to taupo every time we need gear now. They spent over 2 hours making sure we had the right binding/board combo for our riding style and budget. And they have a massive selection to choose from. Highly recommend!
The customer service was helpful and friendly. Great variety of stylish good quality clothes and accessories. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Taupo.
