Used to be happy with Pointons until I hired a board from them, whose binding had a manufacturing defect that damaged my boot. Staff promised to follow up with the manufacturer in terms of some recompense but never got back to me and did not respond to enquiries. Really annoying. Poor customer service.

with this trend of a lack of cardboard boxes. Where are they all? It is peak season and I am in desperate need of a sturdy cardboard, enviro-friendly box from my board and I thought 'Hey! Taupo is known for their sturdy boxes I shall ask them. 
"Gave the last one away bro" was the uncouth response from the phone jockey. I have a strong assumption that this is a lie and am beginning to see Pointons Ski Shop for the box hoarder it really is! Unimpressed.
