While the selection is appealing, the pricing leaves much to be desired. Charging $89.50 for an Adidas jacket and $65.50 for Wrangler jeans feels disconnected from practical consumer expectations. A review of the pricing approach may be warranted.
As most the other reviewers say, way overpriced. Like all Lifelines they have the revival section which has high prices for mediocre items and then all the other clothes which are pretty much all minimum $10.50. Adds up very quickly when you’re getting a couple basic tops that would be $2-3 at a normal op shop. Wouldn’t come here if your looking for a bargain.
Prices are funny. No wonder there is so much stock. Whoever is doing the pricing doesn't live in the real world.nnThis store claims to help people with mental health issues. The pricing has added issues to my mental state.nnWhilst charities are supposed to raise funds for good causes, they are also set up to support the community, particularly those on lower incomes. This stores prices are dearer than a shop. They are not paying for staff, or for stock. This sort of greed, means that that all my good quality items will be donated elsewhere.nn$15 for a small container of buttons. $10 for a canvas frame with the canvas ripped out?
I went there yesterday to donate some items, and got shouted at very loudly by the person in charge. Fortunately there was another tender soul who helped me with my donations. I asked the guy who shouted at me if he was okay and he said he was training people and that I'd stepped into a safety zone. I hope this review will be helpful LL management team in training this individual not to shout at people bringing donations and for the general public who may go there to donate.
I would call this a boutique that sells second hand goods.nIt is definitely priced as a boutique store.nIt is a massive space that houses ALOT of varied stock.nPlenty of parking is on sitenStaff were helpful with my enquiries.nLadieswear is the main stock. With accessories and shoes available.nThe men's section is well stocked again with accessories for men & shoes.nThe children's area covers clothing, toys and games.nClothing in sections is sorted by sizing & type.nThere is also plenty of books and DVDs available.nGeneral kitchenware, manchester, electrical and craft items.nAn area dedicated to retro/ vintage wear available too.
