The side dish of potatoes was something quite special and the building very interesting. Entree of broccolini was only average. The main meal of beetroot, described as a large plate, was tiny and not cheap! Perhaps this could be partially forgiven if the flavours were outstanding, but in my opinion they were not. As I was asked by the waitress "how was everything" I told her I was disappointed with the main meal especially the portion size. She said no one else had complained about that but after reading other reviews I can see it is a common complaint.

We were lucky enough to dine here today for lunch and went with the degustation suggestion for the 4 of us. It was absolutely beautiful! Not only in the flavours but the presentation was beautiful! Well done Matt and staff - we'll be back. Thank you 🥕🥑🌶🍞🍷😁👌

Amazing service, surroundings and food. Highly reccomend. Choose an amazing meal, a picnic on the grass or a drink and a platter. We'll be back!

Visited in january 2017...was one of the most incredible dining experiences. The food was perfection...i hope they still have the carrots.. We will be returning again this year. I reccomend a long lunch outside on the deck. Great wine list! Cannot wait to go back ***edit*** visited again in feb 2018 and it is still just as incredible if not better. Such a beautiful setting and the most beautiful food in SA!!
