I'm surprised that I've never checked them out before!nThe store gives off a bougie/retro vibe, and the star of attraction is, of course, their product selection.nThey are premium, so please be mindful of budget and don't get carried away like me.nIf you are someone who doesn't mind paying extra for quality, then I'm sure this is one of the spots for you to visit.nThe store is clean and tidy. I believe they are in three different locations in the east of Melbourne.nI am keen to visit them again if I can.
A gourmet reveller's delight with a very broad range of imported and local goods and primary produce on offer. Great for niche products difficult to source elsewhere, good for special occasions. The falafel range alone is broad! Prices are generally fairly high. There is handy undercover parking which can be accessed via a narrow laneway off Summerhill Road to the right of the supermarket itself. Otherwise you can park out in the open at the front or across the road.
Local landmark independent supermarket. Convenient central location with plenty of parking underneath, up the top and out the front. Large selection of a wide range of quality supermarket items. Easy to navigate around the shelves. Often busy but service still reasonably quick. Also has a bottle shop. Relatively expensive.
I inquired about the availability of a specialty pasta over the phone and had the best customer service experience. The sales person was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to provide me with detailed information on the range available in store.
Leo’s is where you go when you want to get something you can’t get at Coles usually better things usually more creative and yes, usually a fraction more for some things. But at times Leo’s has specials which rival the big box storesnI love Leo’s for bringing finer things from specialty Italian to a wide range of coffees and fruit and vegetables- good on you Leo’s
