Great park, lush green grass sites. Open space was a bonus, not having anyone either side for the christmas weekend. Only downside was the showers bit odd people cooking under the bathroom windows, boiling hot or freezing with most trickling water could do with new shower heads or a clean. Otherwise we had a great time and will be back. Thank you!
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Booking over the phone was easy and the staff member was very nice. Check in was quick and easy and the lady was very kind also. The price of all accomodation types is extremely reasonable. Large grassed powered sites are exactly that..very large and green grass, nice and level. Very clean ablution blocks. The list goes on! We will be back. Highly recommend.
Great location and stay, nice amenities and staff also. Close to local shops and an hours drive to lobster shack. Only issue we found in the park was the restricted internet and little phone reception but outside the park it was fine. Not sure why but apart from that was really good stay and will be back again
We had a great time at the Park - all the facilities are top rate! So very clean and everything was neat and taken care of. Excellent work guys!Rooms: 4/5
Ledgepoint was the last stop of our campervan journey. Driving up to the main gates, we saw children having a roaring good time at the bouncing playground; that was a very welcoming sight. By now we knew the routine. After parking the campervan on the manicured lawn site, we hooked up power, water and grey discharge. Easy. Despite the dropping temperature, there's a pleasant openness about this place that made me feel relaxed. The entertainment block was right beside our lot. Inside there's a TV area and a pool table. Next to that is a small open kitchen area with wash basins, microwave, BBQ, and a dining table. That's where we had our dinner - reheated KFC. Tasted better than it sounds, of course we were all in good company. The shower block adjoins the kitchen and the laundry room. The men had a nice hot shower. But for some reason, the ladies could not get consistent hot water. My wife suffered the most, the tap was running icy cold water no matter how long she let the water run. She caught a cold as a result. Sometime later, one of the toilet in the ladies was choked and sewage flooded the floor. But I heard the staff cleaned it up quite quickly. Oddly, all our phones had weak to zero data signal within the grounds. Optus had no signal, while Telstra was so weak, barely 1bar with "H+" was displayed. Once we drove out of the gates, signal strength was restored. Guest can use the complimentary wi-fi but there's a 500mb daily limit. Overall, I felt this was still a nice place to spend the night. It was mid autumn day according to the Chinese calender so the moon was full and bright. Lovely way to conclude our campervan adventure.
Second stay in as many weeks. Can't fault it at all! Already booked our next visit! : Lovely park, fantastic facilities, large sites, green grass, clean and the staff are very friendly. Love it!!Service: 5/5
The Holiday Park was a bit disappointing as far as photos don't match the reality. The recreation room was very bare compared to photos. No pool balls, no TV remote, no games and nothing exciting for kids. Park roads were extremely poorly maintained. Pot holes everywhere. Gravel from potholes was all over the lawns. Kids couldn't use their scooters or bikes because of the potholes. To dangerous. Very nice ablution blocks, modern, clean and plenty toilets and showers but when they were wet they were deadly. It's such a shame as Ledge Point ia a great place to visit.
3* for Abrupt reception staff Only 2 out of 5 showers working in block closest to reception - the others fell off the wall . Mentioned to cleaner but same again following day. Water constantly went hot to cold. Noisy pump from shower block that you can hear at night. Cleaning shower block at 0930! Why? We don’t have to vacate until 1000.
Great caravan park, fantastic pool and playground, management dealt with a person who was having personal issues in a very professional way. Great grassed bay, our pick is bay 41 We will be back
Wow, amazing place. everyone is so friendly. The Lady at check-in could not have been more nicer or accommodating. The Campers Kitchen and Ablutions is extremely clean and welcoming. Yes, sure its a bit windy. it blew our tent around a bit, but that did not dampen the short trip away. Will definitely be back!
