Quite a bit to explore if you want to wander around the campsite and caves areas. The cave walks would be more interesting for non-history buffs if they had a 15min non-seminar option, but the rest of the park more than makes up for the lengthy talks in the cave walk. Plenty of opportunities to see kangaroos, sometimes in little families and sometimes in huge packs. A koala viewing area. Some gardens. And most importantly a relaxing park area surrounding a lake, with a small chocolate store that does decent coffee too. I’m yet to try the walk/a jog around the lake, but that promises to be a jungle-exploring-like adventure!

Really liked it. Very well taken care of the place. BBQ are working well and clean The cave tour was but short for adults but I think it is perfect length for little kids. We read little bit about cave. That was very helpful. Only thing was Kangaroo poo was everywhere. It was hard to sit on the grass.

Great place to take a young family. Plenty to keep everyone occupied for a whole day. Koala feeding was interesting to see. The caves are a must do experience. The inn has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Only downside was the cafe did not have good coffee. If helpful 👍

Very calm and quiet. Watch out for the kangaroo poo everywhere on the grass. Lots of cockatoos and a few koalas. Car entry was $13. Crystal cave is $15 per person.

Yanchep National Park is a nice place to bring family visiting from other areas, especially if they haven't had the chance to see kangaroos or koalas. My boyfriend and I went once for a hike and weren't really impressed with the trail we chose with there not being much to see along the way. We ended up turning around after a couple hours disappointed. We did however go another day to catch a tour of a cave and we enjoyed it very much. The tour guide was very informative and kept the crown engaged with his sense or humor. We will be back to try out some of the other trails they have hoping that they are a bit more intriguing, but also just to enjoy the peaceful scenery.
