The trees are majestic tall and impressive offering generous shade and a touch of lush nature. There are plenty of open spaces, perfect for picnics and family barbecues, as well as a playground that ensures fun for the kids. A true outdoor haven for all ages.
Such a beautiful lovely park, it reminded me of a small scale Central Park in New York. People were out enjoying their time, saw two friends sitting on a bench playing guitars and singing. And also saw an outdoor yoga session happening with a big group. I would definitely come back!
One of my ALL TIME FAVES!! This park has the most beautiful ancient trees!! Lots of seating areas too. Is perfect for a stroll, for working or for photographs. Is super popular for wedding and special event photos. Lots of cafes nearby also.
I’m an Authorised Marriage Celebrant based In Margaret River. I used to live very close to this beautiful Hyde Park and I visit frequently because it has beautiful old Moreton Bay fig trees plus bird life and people watching which gives a break to the busy Metro feeling. Hyde Park is not only stunning, it is centrally located right in the middle of Perth. It has been my pleasure to officiate a number of different Wedding commitment and naming ceremonies here. What makes it so special is not only the relaxed and intimate settings, there are a couple of options to consider make sure that you book through the council to secure your pergola and just be aware that it is a public setting so you might get the occasional rubber-necker!
Hyde Park is one of the best parks in Perth, complete with beautiful jacaranda trees for perfect purple-themed photos. The park has plenty of benches, lush grass, easy-to-access toilets, and exotic birds. Love it!!
