Visited many times to this local restaurant but have been disappointed on last 2 visits. Our latest visit on Friday night will be the last. We were greeted as usual by very friendly and helpful staff and placed our order for pizza and risotto. All meals were as usual served promptly and hot. While eating his risotto our friend found a long hair in his meal and quickly returned it to the counter. Eventually staff asked if he would like a replacement meal or something else but he decided to retry the risotto once again. The staff told us he would not be charged for the meal but when paying were very quickly told he had eaten the replacement meal so had to pay for it. Explained that our friend ate alone as we had already eaten when his replacement risotto came out but the staff member was adamant we would have to pay. I really expected as we are regulars to the restaurant just for “good will” alone we wouldn’t be charged. Staff member was agressive and rude and unfortunately we won’t be returning.
