The food is ridiculously priced. I ordered a lamb pasty and there was one measly bit of meat in it. Worst of all it cost 10.50. It would have been worth it if the quality matched the price.

99% sure the food has been left in their glass cabinets for days at a time. Had some of their crumbed chicken and had to get tested for salmonella. When I came back in to have a chat about it, the owner..who has always been the most unpleasant person to deal with, spoke to me like I was dirt on his shoe. Nasty, bitter and rude. If you want to give back to small business in a time of crises, I would highly recommend spending your money with people who deserve it.

Great home cooked food! Although,I would not recommend it during lockdown.Unless you know exactly what you want.Went this afternoon and was looking at things for a special dinner.I was told, almost Immediately, that they are not open for browsing.I then went to Tartine in Armadale,which also has Great home cooked food.Fortunately,they were happy to see me.

Consistently good food. The sandwiches, pies and cakes are always of top quality - the pastry being a highlight - and there is a great selection of take home meals. It is not cheap, but worth the extra money. Tea and coffee are also good.

I am not sure if this cafe is good or not but there are no retail prices on the goods on offer listed. I find that extremely pretentious. It is in my local area so I am disappointed, as to what point does not listing your prices serve?

Not very friendly staff. You can get similar stuff from many places in Brighton with very helpful smiling staff

Great homemade food, there's lots of cakes and soups as well, and also, they have one of the best chocolate there is.

Super delicious food. Great coffee. Friendly staff. In a word YUMMMMMMM !
