Dr Danny Chan was in charge of an elective surgery that was meant to fix my extremely damaged nose. I have had breathing problems my entire adult life and still to this very day. He put me on a waiting list for the Monash hospital in 2016 and said that it may take upwards of 2 to 3 years at that point. Come 2019, I still hadn't heard a peep about my operation. I call up Monash to check up about my lengthy waiting time to only find out that my elective surgery was never put through their system. And that Dr Danny Chan had been dismissed from their hospital for reasons not fully explained. Naturally I was very upset and had to go through alternative channels to get onto the system once again thanks to the good Dr Chan.. Any hopes of being fast tracked onto a list were cut short naturally due to the pandemics that span to this very day. I was put onto a waiting list "offically" by Monash in 2020, and I'm still awaiting to be taken in after two years of surgeries being shelved, or in my case; 6 years of negligence. 6 long years that never should have been because one Dr decided not to do his paperwork properly.
Mr Danny Chan is a terrific and extremely professional specialist. He was my consulting doctor at Knox Hospital and took great care of me during my stay. He is also a skilled surgeon, I had a Tonsillectomy last month with no issues. I was given very informative information regarding recovery. I would highly recommend Danny Chan.
this hospital treat patients like pig. only care for money.Danny Chan is proud person , in big hurry, didn't bother to check my son nose as well as his tonsils properly,. my son breathes even worse after surgery. every night while my son struggles for breath i swear to this doctor and knox hospital for after surgery care.
Waited a month to see Dr Chan only to have him check my ears and throat and send me off for a hearing test. No explanation regarding my ct scan and vertigo. All of 3 mins for my appointment. It was like I wasn't worth his time.
Extremely poor. I’m surprised that he can’t afford receptionists when he is charging $350 for a brusk and unpersonal consultation. If you need to get in contact with this “service”, Be prepared to wait long periods, two weeks And you’re very lucky even if they deign to pick up the phone in the first place, Let alone respond or action any voicemails. Would not recommend, an extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience.
Sent away with nasal spray had 2 or 3 consultations,nose and now my throat and ear Have packed up. Can't afford the hundreds of dollars without resolution
