Only reason I have been coming here it is because it’s bulk-billed. But even so shouldn’t there still be an ETHICAL code for doctors to treat patients accordingly ?nI saw Dr Kiran Pannu; DO NOT EVER see her. I woke up that day and couldn’t weight bear or fully bend my knee. She said it could be a viral infection to the joint cos I was sick 6 days ago.fair enough but she gave no pain killers. N told me to see emergency or specialist if it worsens- but no referral letter ?nI had to ask her to order bloods and X-ray or MRI. She wasn’t keen . I HAD to insist. X-ray was normal. But I was still in pain. Thankfully I knew a physio and she organised an urgent MRI for me and I had grade 2 patella tear. Which I need Bed rest and nSAIDs and physio. And I couldn’t go to work for a week!!!!! I had to go to ED to get painkillers and a week sick cert !!!nnI came to see a doctor who gave me no instructions to follow up. I had to sort my own management. It’s bulk billed . But they still got money from the Govt. I was charged 46 dollars for a lesser then 10 mins consultnnI usually see Dr Peter Hanna or Mina Hanna. Stick to them .They might seem busy but at least they give some form of follow up or solution.
Always running very behind, doctors can feel a bit rushed at times and reception is not very friendly. But not unexpected for one of the few bulk billing places left in the area. I have seen a number of doctors here and have had good experiences with Dr Akhtar, Dr Hanna and Dr Chowdhury. I wouldn't come here for a complex ongoing issue but for quick visits, scripts, certificates and all it does the job.
I have seen many of the doctors here over 10 years - they have been really good with their advice and help. However, the administration and overall management have been so poor - it beggars belief. Not one incident that leads to this poor review, but multiple over a few years mainly from the poorly administered practice, including the lack of accountability and follow up on poor feedback despite personal assurance. Final straw for me is an unhelpful email from Vathany, the Practice Manager, offering zero help on a clearly communicated issue. This would be a one star review if not for the doctors I have dealt with that have been good in my experience, including Dr Peter Hanna, Dr Wu, and Dr Charlton, among others when schedules don't align.
There are a lot of very negative reviews on Dr Avi Carlton. ALL ARE ACCURATE.nShe is one of the most condescending people I have ever met, and does not care at all about her patients. As she “specializes” in infants, we were hoping to build a long lasting relationship with her as our new family doctor, that was quickly abandoned as she said we shouldn’t feed our child fruit... She constantly rolls her eyes and makes snide remarks. SEE LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE.
1 star is being very generous. Had a telehealth appointment booked for 9:40am. Called at 10:10am to find out the delat only to be told they see to people in the clinic first. This negates the entire point of making an appointment in the first place.
