One of the customer service staff, a woman in her 50s with a bob cut and brown hair, has been extremely rude every time I’ve dealt with her, which has been about three times now. She makes you feel like a criminal just for requesting an online order refund. Never smiles and just shapes with a blank stare on her face. She clearly hates been there.nnI've seen other staff handle it easily, where you just provide the order number, and they process the refund to after pay without grilling you or making you feel like you're doing something wrong.nnWhen I went to get a refund for a muscle roller, the first thing she snapped was, “Where’s the packaging?” I explained it didn’t come with any. Then she asked, “What’s the name of it?” I pointed out that it should be visible on her screen, but she just went silent and then rudely repeated her question. After I told her it was a muscle roller, she proceeded to Google the product on her phone as if I was bringing in another random product from another store. She had to check the website to see if it was a kmart item. What the????nnI mentioned I’ve never had an issue with refunds before and that other staff could always see the item on the screen. She ignored me, head down the whole time. This woman seriously needs customer service training—she acts miserable and treats customers requesting refunds like they’re criminals.
Prices & range are great… but seriously- it needs to go back to the ‘old school’ registers & check out chicks- it’s a shit show for everyone. I especially feel for the staff at the entry - checking receipts . I feel like I’m in Walmart in the US!
The store was incredibly messy during my visit, and it wasn’t even Christmas! There was stock scattered across the floors, broken items, and trolleys and rolling racks filled with merchandise left in the walkways. In some areas, the aisles were so narrow that it was nearly impossible for someone with a trolley to pass another person. I also struggled to locate what I was looking for, and when I asked for help, the staff informed me that they couldn't assist.nnOverall, not a fruitful shopping experience.
I love the 7am opening and 9pm close. Especially with school aged children when they come to you and say they need such and such for school that day! nnThis store is on the smaller side for me personally however I rarely have had any issues with staff, have found them to be active, helpful and friendly.nnI love the Click and collect option of buying online. Navigating their website is a breeze and it's good to check stock at other nearby stores.nnOn this particular visit and I was after double size sheet sets, fitted sheer plowcases combo and quilt covers for my teen and tween boys, 16 and 11 not a lot to choose from in-store so I will try my luck online.nnOverall, their range, quality and prices are fairly reasonable.
Staff have no idea where the stock is. Asked 3 different staff members. No one will walk you to where an item is and every person you ask will tell you its at a different location. Stock is scattered all over the place and very confusing to find things you are looking for. Many items left under shelves and scattered on the floor as well. Left the store unable to find what we came in for.
