The rooms are simple yet beautiful. We were provided with FREE parking. A godsend for tourists. The rooms come with a blueray player in the living room and a built in dvd player for the bedroom. My only jive with the room was a queen bed in simply two double beds pressed together, it makes for an uncomfortable couples sleep. Overall its a solid 8/10 from me. Excellent and kind customer service with a beautiful and flush room.

These guys make you feel at home. You can ask for anything. Doesn't have to be on the menu..

I have been many times to this kosher restuarant, and many times considered writing a review. I feel it would be unethical not to mention the various issues with this restaurant, and it's certainly got increasingly worse over time. 1) It is very expensive, the price seems to increase each time I go there (expect to pay about $60 per head upwards for a three course meal) 2) The quality of the food is usually about 4/10 i.e overcooked fish, mashed vegetables without enough potatoes, inappropriate usage of spices and herbs, undercooked tomato-condiment with pasta etc. etc. Seriously, actual home cooking is much better (even for an average cook). 3) Serving size is regularly 'half-sizes', when the staff is questioned about this they are very defensive i.e clearly a half piece of fish/schnitzel is served 4) Food is brought out at odd times as much as about 35 minutes apart (i.e the main meals) 5) Staff are usually friendly, but on occasion they have been in a bad mood (possibly because they are sometimes clearly understaffed). On one occasion the staff attempted to move us away from the window seat we booked, on an empty night mid-week at 7:30pm because we were 'not ordering enough' or words to that effect. 6) Actual building is really dated... not in a good way 7) Birthdays... whenever there's a birthday they dim out the lights and present the cake to the birthday boy/girl... this often happens several times throughout a meal, it doesn't feel like a proper restaurant 8) Music. If there is any, it is nearly always something a little strange or really loud Anybody writing a positive review of this restaurant is nearly most certainly a friend of the owner. Most people eating there are religious people that have literally no other upmarket meat restaurant in the city of Melbourne to eat at. If there was anywhere else to go, believe me, people would be going there. If you want great food, look elsewhere. If you want a great experience, look elsewhere. If you want an experience that will be so poor and make you feel so totally ripped off afterwards, then look no further than this here 'fine' establishment.

I have never written an online review of a restaurant before but this place is a joke. Where do I start? - It took them an hour to actually take our orders. - Waitstaff had zero idea about the menu. - Most of the mains were around the $50 mark, that's more expensive that Donovan's or Stokehouse for food that is at best 4/10. -Venue is completely outdated. - The specials menu was handed out on a cut up piece of paper. - The menus weren't removed from the tables and we had to eat on top of them. - Wrong orders brought out and instead of rectifying it, the waiter spent another five minutes explaining why there had been a mistake on his iPad putting the order through. - Everytime they brought a birthday cake out (I counted six times) they turned all the lights off in the venue. - No music. This is one of those places that cashes in on the Jewish community's desire to eat Kosher. Absolutely rubbish.
