This is the Official page for KATS Automotive Services, a local family owned and operated independent car service mechanic business, was established in 1996. The business has experienced sound growth since then and has been recognised as the recipient of several business and industry awards.
Company owners Terry and Kayleen Edgar are active members of many automotive and community organizations. Kay and Terry are supported by a very experienced professional team of technicians and administration staff who’s focus is delivering the highest level of customer service

KATS are great. Terry, Kay and Mark have always taken the time to patiently explain things, are always extremely friendly and helpful. Their work is great, speedy and reasonably priced. They never try and push unwanted extras or sneak hidden costs in. I have used KATS for my last 2 cars and have been more than satisfied everytime. Even get a free wash and vacuum.

I have just started taking my car here (an older Astra on it's way out and needing a fair bit of work). On both occasions I have dealt with Terry who has been honest, professional and has gotten the job done. He has thoroughly explained the issues and the work that has been done. I have walked away knowing what I have paid for and the work that was done (not easy to come by)

Great customer service, honest and reasonably priced. We will take our next car here too.

Today was our first experience with Kats Automotive and I would like to thank them for the friendly and professional service they provided. They are 1st class when it comes to providing customer service and I cannot recommend them highly enough.  Here’s my top  6 reasons why I would definitely choose Kats again:

Initial phone conversation was followed up with an estimate of service costs
Friendly and personable greeting when I dropped off the car
Communicated with me about any additional service features/costs during the day
Full explanation of the car service and future service requirements
Car was immaculately cleaned inside and out on collection – totally unexpected but very much appreciated!!
Bag of Snakes sweets sitting on the passenger seat – now that’s going the extra mile!

Went there for rwc. Had to repair a lot of stuff for the rwc they said. I should receive a quote for that, never received a quote or a call.
