I recently had my Range Rover Sport repaired by Gabba Collision.  From first contact the team were extremely helpful and courteous.  They run a very smooth operation and never seem rushed.  The service level is not something I would've expected from a smash repairer.  They fixed/replaced the tailgate and also repaired 2 rims.  After picking up my car I noticed a small issue with one of the tyres and they were happy to fix that at no cost.  Paul (owner) personally checked this out for me and also noticed a surface scratch down the side of my car (this had been there for 6 months).  Paul also had this buffed out as part of the service while I waited.  Overall friendly, courteous, clean and professional.  Highly recommended.

I used Gabba collisions only for convenience as it was close to my work and my insurance company recommended them.  I  was initially told that it would take 3 days maybe 4 my car was with them a week, due to structural damage from a previous repairer I was told which by the way they did not fix nor did I care.

When I went to pick up my car the Id plates were not on and they fixed that in minutes.  However the back panel was sticking out at one side I asked that it be properly aligned.  Two young men then proceeded to remove the back panel to fix.

I was then confronted by a largish heavyset  man who began to tell me that it would not sit properly as the car when repaired in the past was not repaired correctly.  He kept carrying on about the damage from a previous accident and that he was not responsible for fixing this damage... As if I was responsible for mistakes from previous repairs, if in fact it is true...Bizzare... all I wanted was for it to sit properly and for him to do it right...

While this patronising person was preaching trying to intimidate me and bully me and persisted in telling me that it could not be aligned properly due to previous damage , the two young men were pulling the back off  while he was fluffing his feathers and going on and on, within minutes the other 2 men  alligned the back..well gee wiz...go figure....

He also yelled at me telling me never to bring my car back to him....which I believe is invalid as there is a warranty on repairs...

It was unbelievable....

This persons behaviour was rude, obnoxious ,arrogant and confrontational.  If you are a woman definitely do not use this Gabba collisions..

Used this service twice due to its location and am NEVER going back again. 
1) First time the repairs were completed but strip along the side of the car kept peeling off after.  
2) This time - Was told I was liable for the excess when insurer documents confirmed I was not. Had to have an actual argument with the front desk admin lady before she would phone the insurer to confirm their paperwork was wrong.  
3) Was told when I booked in and again when I dropped my car off that it would be ready for collection the next day.  It wasn't and they didn't have the basic courtesy to phone and let me know.  When I phoned them the reason was put down to not having time to fit a part that day. 
4) Hire car service they referred me to don't guarantee you won't have to pay for the hire even if you are not liable for the accident.  6) After I found out Gabba Repairs weren't giving mine back, the hire car company didn't have time to deliver me a vehicle.  
Overall a very frustrating experience with no attempt on the repairer's part to actually help fix the situation they created.  I strongly recommend you avoid them.

There is no other place in Brisbane I would take my car to be repaired - quality of workmanship and  professional service from start to finish. Paul and his team provided a flawless matching of paint and panel repair. I have used Gabba Collision for different repair jobs on different vehicles from prestige to daily run abouts over the past decade - from hail damage, major panel damage to minor scrapes - there is no better panel shop in Brisbane. Would give 6 stars if I could

I had to get my car fixed and I recently picked my car up from Gabba Collisions and I just wanted to say how happy I am with the car and the service! The guys even washed and cleaned my car!! 

I usually visit Steve’s brother Chris at Southside Auto Electrics on 5 MountJoy Street Gabba and he referred me to these guys! I’ve already been telling people about them!
