As a local, I feel extremely fortunate to have the use of such a WONDERFUL facility, provided by The Blue Mountains Council, which also welcomes visitors to the area. The indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna and hot showers are exceptional. Yvette, Evie, Lauri and Craig always make everyone feel so welcome and included, as do the younger staff. However booking for the most popular Aqua classes and some of the other fitness ones, is almost impossible because of the system. It would be good to see Senior Management take more responsibility to ensure everyone is treated equally and with respect. The rule of sitting on a towel in the spa should be fully enforced!
Just wanted to do a special shout out to Yvette. We are travelling through as tourists on the blue mountains for near on 3 weeks and she has welcomed us to the center also has been encouraging of our fitness goals. What a fantastic representation of the hospitality we have experienced at the Blue Mountains.
Had noticed that some of the recent reviews had been negative so was hesitant to go, however it was a hot day and I thought why not?!nI’m very glad I went, no issues at all. Very friendly front desk staff, affordable entry price for a guest visit & the outdoor pool the only one we used was clean! A bonus of poolside chairs and grassy areas to chill/tan.nA separate baby/children’s pool meant that the large lap pool was quite empty.
Outdoor pool is closed but heated 25m indoor pool is quite good. After 0730 not busy. Nice warm water shower too.nLawson pool closed for the season.
I like the vibe. It's not perfect, the outside change rooms not always maintained but it's really a gem. Group classes to suit tastes and Jodie has to be the best pilates teacher ever. Do NOT miss Yvette the Dutch manager. She has a voice to cause seismic shifts in the tectonic places and hilarious.
