Great view, but DO BE AWARE of that it can be really really really hot during summer. On the day we arrived I felt the temperature almost reached 45 degree and no wind. After seeing the natural window we almost died and we only stopped briefly at Z bend, didn't dare to take the many hours walk in such a hot day, even though we carried a lot of water. I did hear a ranger said ppl were sent to hospital due to the excessive heat. Do not take me wrong the scene and view are amazing and let you wonder how great our nature is and how powerful the time can do to the terrain. However do choose your visiting time wisely as you won't enjoy anything with such a heat, regardless how great the view is. 5 star to the view, -1 to the weather.

Amazing place. Bit dry this time of the year (December) but still worth it. Also the entire drive out there has been asphalted.
