Free hot tub was a delightful bonus! The ‘security’ cat and dog are so friendly and lovely as were our hosts! Really helpful advice and suggestions for any questions we had which was great since the town’s info site is permanently closed :
Lovely 3 night stay in a studio unit.nClean, warm and well appointed unit with parking. Lovely, helpful staff. Great location, close to good cafes, op shops, train station.nWe used the Hot tub, laundry facilities. There are other great facilities for children/families such as playground and pool.nOnly negative is the traffic noise from SH1.
This is a mediocre park masquerading as a top ten. Toasters did not work. Several of the stove tops did not work. There idea of a dish towel is the cheap throw away towel that is single use only. The bathrooms had a horrendous sewage smell. No dishes or silverware. To use the hot tub you needed to reserve it, but no where on the website does it state this. Of the six top ten holiday parks we stayed at on NZ, this one really was a disappointment. Since we really had no facilities to use, we could have stayed at another park with powered sites that does not have facilities and saved some money. This is a shame since Kaikoura is an amazing place.
Definitely one of the better Top 10’s. Modern and clean facilities, friendly staff and good location walking distance from the city centre. We loved the hot tub as well, great to warm up after a crisp day.nDog friendly as well!
Our family was there for the weekend we really enjoyed ourselves, they were really accommodating to all 23 of us. Rooms and service was great all talking about coming back again. Thankyou so much for everything.
