I went into The Palms Just Cuts Christchurch to get my hair done for my son's wedding the next day. IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! The stylist was useless. Didn't even ask me properly what i wanted. I have a cow lick on the right side of my head. But instead of flicking it back and making it look nice he cut it wrong and flattened it down like bangs. It ended up looking like a bowl cut. I felt and looked terrible for a very special day. Have had experience with Dunedin as well.

I Brought in my 3 year old son the other day for his first haircut and absolutely regret the decision.His hair is nothing like I asked for, I will admit he did move a bit as he's not one for sitting still but considering it being his first time in the chair did pretty well! His hair is a mess, it has just been hacked at no proper sectioning or any thought at all went into it.The stylist was un organized and seemed like she had no idea what she was doing literally just picking up random bits of hair and hacking it. We took a video of him getting it done and after watching it and showing other people who were also in shock that any professional hairdresser would be happy to let a customer walk out with a haircut that terrible, I felt I had to say something and if I wasn't so polite i would have done straight after.It's a shame because my 10 year old also got a haircut at the same time and I can not fault it probably one of the best cuts he's had.
Sandy was wonderful with my teenager who didn't quite explain what cut he wanted correctly. She fixed him up after a quick discussion to make sure it was what he wanted before we left. Thanks Sandy!Service: Hairstyling
I'm giving 2 stars but only for the sweet receptionist, my partner and our 4 year old son got their haircut here on the 19th and I requested short on the back and sides with slightly longer on top, our son sits very well for a haircut despite his age. On meeting back up with my partner later I was extremely disappointed that they had both received some very unfortunate looking bowl cuts instead, we have later had to go to a different business to remedy the situation and my sons hair is looking much betterService: Hairstyling
Very disappointed yesterday! Had a checked in online and waiting time was about an hour. After an hour when I popped in, they said they are awaiting for few customers and my turn could take another 1.5 hours. I understand, I was in a queue. However, the store was empty and they could take me as it supposed to be turn that time. Anyway, I value my time and decided not to go again. Giving 2 stars because of I used to be thier customer and they are good in service. But yesterday's one was very disappointing.
