Great customer service and reasonable price! The guys always put the time in to explain what needs to be done and what we could do now for my car to prevent any further damage in between services or a higher expense later on. Highly recommend!

Excellent, quick and good value - we called on Thursday afternoon to say something smelled like it was burning. Shane got the car in, had to remove the motor to access the problem, then done his homework to find the best quality parts for the best price. No hesitation returning to or recommending JStar Auto at all.

I went to High School with Shane. He was always obsessed with cars back then - when I saw that he and Jessie had an open day for their Auto Garage at the Diamond Creek Fare some years back; I wasn't hesitant to go down, say hello and check it out. I took my car there for its next service, mind you it had been a few and far between... Shane looked after me, not as and old associate, as a customer. After my service (and I must say my car drove like brand new) I felt so relaxed, relieved and satisfied that my car and I, got the treatment we both deserved. Due to lack of servicing I had the engine light pooping on from chunks of you know what! What I loved about the business the most was: - Great communication - Very reasonable pricing, no surprises - all was accounted for - Advanced notifications on any potential wear and tear, future replacements / conditioning to be aware of - even went that extra mile to polish the headlights for me at no charge Being a female, I've hopped from mechanic to mechanic interstate in Qld to Melbourne North East Sububs. I've dealt with quite a few rotten eggs (grateful for my mechanical knowledge growing up, thanks dad!) can smell BS a mile away - oh yes many fights, many a mechanical logic war... anyways... When I know a good one I stick to them. Unfortunately I live 19hours away from JStar now, but have nestled with a goodie after 3 attempts - almost serviced my own car I got that frustrated!!!! My father who has great mechanical aptitude switched over to JStar before I left the area (a couple years back) and can't speak highly enough of them either. He hasn't wanted to go anywhere else, he thought his last mechanic was the bees knees and convenient, but now he drives that little bit further for quality and satisfaction!!! Keep up the great work team!!

Jessie and the boys are always friendly. Give great advice and very knowledgable. Would give 5 stars if they stopped putting their JStar sticker on my window.

Great place and fantastic service, the owner also has a striking resemblance to a clapped out James Hetfield of Metallica
