I was very impressed with the selection of fresh produce with so many different types of fruit. What was more impressive was it was all very well priced. A place like this could easily charge more due to the location and type of patron who would visit. The dried fruits and nuts also looked amazing. I chose some very delicious, large omega plums. I could have easily walked away with more than I need, particularly the Greengage plums that also look delicious. I would see definitely stop again on my way to Queenstown from Dunedin. Even if just to smell the roses outside the shop.

This place is unfortunately on the "tour bus circuit" and as such is a total rip off. I'm used to places that "grow their own" selling good produce at reasonable prices but this place might have good produce but one look at the Chinese labels on all the products is all that you need to know about prices. It's completely geared up to tourists and is not a pleasant experience. As far as I'm concerned there are either better alternatives locally or its worth avoiding completely. It makes you wonder what incentive the tour companies/coach drivers get from places like this

Great and fresh fruits!!! Cheaper than everywhere else we traveled and there cherries were awesome. The rose garden was beautiful as well.

Extremely busy if you're on a coach tour make sure you get off first as there will be long lines of people wanting their real fruit ice creams at NZ $5. Lots of other things to buy, fruit sweets etc or walk around the gardens which are to one side worth a wander around.
