It is a hardware store. Often hard to find someone to ask for advice however today it was reasonably quick and good advice. I don't understand their checkout system, they often only have one person on and there are usually lines.
Was it there today had couple hundred dollars of stuff. Got to one of the two checkouts that were open . Only for checkout person to put chain up and walk away. The self service ones were closed. Lots of customers wanting checkout.nLeft items there.nSorry Dunedin unless you pull your act together and look after yours customers I will not be back.
I had amazing service/help today, went beyond to make sure I got what needed and it worked, Huge thanks to the lady in the plumbing section and the Blonde lady in the garden equipment dept area Sat morning . You should be proud Bunnings to have these 2 helpful ladies as part of the team
Ideal spot to shop for any home improvement and decor items Shelves are neatly stocked with visible pricing. Staff are helpful and so friendly!nnKeep an eye out for many discounted items! I came across a few from today's visit 20 May.nnThe arts and crafts aisle is one of my favorites! Plenty of DIY sets to choose from nnThere was also a special stall dedicated to World Bee Day with a few really cool bee and insect themed items nnUpdate: Bunnings has become my favorite for art supplies - I managed to find the acrylic pouring paint set here for $19.85 which came highly recommended also added a mini rolling paint brush to my trolley and headed home a happy customer!
Sad sad sadnTerrible service if you can get any!nI went to bunnings and looked for duct tape 1st time I've been in the store and what a disappointment.nI got lost asked a woman that was filling a shelf where the Duct tape is she told me we're it could be but alas it was not so I walked around the isles looking for it with my dog and after a few frustrated minutes found it.nI then proceeded to the front counter and there was a woman standing behind two empty trolleys that were between her and the desk and the two chatting laughing men behind the counter didn't move the trolleys and I ignored the woman and me and I was frustrated nI turned around and low and behold there was a young man behind a single counter so I went to him and wile he served me I grumble about the two men at the front counter.nHe repliednOh that's normal up there I don't know what they are doing but it happens all the time since I've been working here.nWell I thanked him and walked out I will never step foot in bunnings Dunedin ever again. Thank God for mega mitre 10 DunedinnNone of the stress there.
