Friendly staff and great food. It's big enough this locates in 550 Collins St building food courtgood space compare to other store ii n the food court. Perfect If you are having a lunch out with your colleagues. I went here for kottu so I can recommend that. But saw other foods they have ,they all look yummy.

Nice joint in the heart of Melbourne CBD. This place is one of my regular lunch options. I like there rice and curry options as its a decent portion and comes with choice of brown/saffron rice and 3 curries, papadum and youghurt. Options to sit inside or outside. Only area of improvement is to add more vegetarian options to choose from. The staff is courteous and respectful. I recommend this place.
The food was tasty but the portion is really less what they served. And they don’t explain anything to the customer about the prices and dishes. The guy came out and he was in a hurry to run and he served me without asking anything from me what I expect. And I was waiting for him to serve me some chicken or meat but when I asked he was telling that I need to pay extra . The staff should explain we’ll to the customers about the packages what they offer.
I’ve been eating Millon’s superb Sri Lankan at Jolly J’s for years. Consistently great, authentic and generous. A Melbourne must for curry lovers.
Friendly staff, beautiful yummy food. Lamb buriyani was delicious spicy Chicken parmigiana was moist with a slightly spicy sauce. Owner chef happy to accomodate your level of spice
The vegetable Kothu Roti is amazing. Imagine fried noodles like Char Kway Taeo, but instead of noodles it's stir fried strips of roti. Then to make it distinctly Sri Lankan it has a delicious curry flavour. It's one of my favourite dishes in Melbourne. They have a sign saying they do celiac and gluten free dishes too, though I didn't find out what. A very low key place that has a friendly home feel with the owner running the show. They also do western meals if you have less adventurous friends.
Best Sri Lankan food I’ve had in Melbourne! Their kottu is amazing not dry at all and their curries are out of this world. 100% recommend
