Celebrated a special occasion here on Sunday and the place was busy! However service was attentive and easy going! We enjoyed the vibe and was happy that the food also was overall enjoyable as we had shared plates! We would have liked more vegetarian options and didn’t think very much of the truffle fettuccine as it was bland! The bisteca was very good and juicy! And the tiramisu dessert was a great way to end the evening!
We have been coming here for almost two years. The most friendly staff and awesome pizzas. On top of which we couldn’t manage our fave dessert Tiramisu!! So we ordered take away. Truly delicious with my home brewed coffee. . . Vegetarian options: There are quite a few options. Kid-friendliness: Restaurant packed out early Sunday evenings with families. Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility. However, I do not need myself.
Absolutely beautiful place. Perfect for a date night! The food was amazing and the drinks were outstanding. Great vibe! By far the best Italian in Sydney
Came here using a voucher I had from theFork. Overall, it was a disappointing experience in terms of food. We ordered the sage ravioli, arancini and vegetarian pizza. The food was obviously frozen/pre-made, you could tell it wasn't fresh. The arancini was dry and had little flavour. The ravioli was hard and also not fresh. For the price you pay, it's definitely not worth it for the quality you get. The staff were lovely though and there was a nice ambience. If you're after authentic Italian food, I'd suggest giving this place a pass.
Lovely alfresco dining available and the food was fresh and the staff were friendly. We had the crab ravioli and the seafood dish with lobster bisque, seared snapper, mussels and claims. Prices are on the steeper side but the dishes were executed well.
A nice experience. The Isabella antipasto plate was not great value. The ravioli were good & the Nebbiolo was delicious but $$$
Couple years ago I rated this place 5 stars, it was the best Italian I’ve had in Sydney with the best service. Peter, the manager at the time, terrific bloke. Chef Filip, extraordinary. Today after its re-brand it’s an absolute basket case. New manager some big bloke has absolutely no clue how to run a restaurant or speak to customers very blunt and the food has reduced in size & quality and also went up in price not to mention ridiculous phone service and wait times. Shell of itself and extremely disappointing.
Used to be the favourite local but since Eli? is no longer managing the overall experience has declined. The manager took 25 minutes to take our order when there was only one other table eating in the restaurant at the time. Despite being super quiet and having 3 chefs in the kitchen they still messed up 3 of 4 dishes we ordered. Since Eli hasn’t been managing we’ve been disappointed every time.
I wanted to like this place because the atmosphere was relaxing and the smells wafting out of the kitchen was really good. However, everything just lacked flavour in general. The pizza bases and the bread were cooked nicely with a satisfying chew but all I could taste was carbs.
Been here three times. While the food is decent, the service is absolutely appalling. All three times we’ve received the wrong order, and had to wait 20+ minutes for our correct order to be made. No real form of apology from the staff either. This will certainly be our last time. Far better options in the Neutral Bay/Mosman area!
