Awesome Italian restaurant around the pier! The food were really good and authentic. The pizza is a must-try and best served when it just come out. The calamari is also great, very soft and perfectly breaded. The place is always crowded so you may need to make a reservation. The ambience is good and you can opt to sit with the view of the pier. We'd definitely come back again when we come to Sydney.
Top spot..casual but sophisticated. Love that you can opt for a simple pizza meal or live it up with lots of other plates. Peaceful location set away from hustle and bustle...
Went there for Lunch. Ordered a Steak and Eggplant salad. The Steak had too much fat in it so we returned it as we were running short of time to get new one cooked. Eggplant salad was scrumptious! Customer service is good too.
On a quiet Sunday night, this part of town always feels so separate to the rest of Sydney. Stumbled past the Argyle Cut to rows of terrace houses Unk White might sketch, cast iron balconies with views of nature strips, trees and meandering footpaths, the harbour beyond. Dimly lit Lord Nelson eerie in the moonlight. Google Maps guided us toward the hitherto unfamiliar Windmill Steps and over a footbridge I've never walked upon, but always wondered about. Out of the dark, beside a closed section of the same restaurant, near the dock where they filmed Dance Academy, in the low level candle light, amongst the hushed voices of the handful of diners - Ventuno. Food. delicious. Service attentive. Toilet signs very hip. Recommend the cauliflower with fried chick peas ..... Going vegetarian I think for the next little while, all part of my transition to better things!
So happy to find this place. The food was amazing, the view was brilliant, service with smile. It was Christmas Eve so not a lot of people around which made it better. Too busy eating to remember to photos! Loved the truffle fries.
I visited this restaurant for a quick bite only. I ordered a pizza Zucca, which was a vegetarian one. As it regularly comes as a white pizza, I could get it with tomato sauce, which I prefer. It was topped with some mashed pumpkin, green asparagus, feta and cherry tomatoes. The taste was very good and service was courteous!
Amazing! Lovely waterfront view, great service and food. We got the ciabatta bread, burrata, pumpkin ravioli, and italiana pizza for lunch. It was very filling for the three of us. Food hit the spot for us. Would definitely come again.
We keep coming back here as our pre-theatre favourite. Whilst we have tried every restaurant on this strip, including The Wharf and Ros Packer, this is the bomb! The service team are friendly and efficient and the food is fresh and tasty. They let us sit if we are early and move mountains for us if we are late. They always get us to the theatre on time with a very satiated stomach : Thanks Ventuno team.
Intimate Italian experience on a quiet warf over a Sunday night. Indoor or outdoor seating with a warm overhead heater and a spectacular couples table outlooking the water and the neigh oring warf buildings. The menu was wide in range although not very deep per food type except pizzas. Reguardless the food was decadent and extremely fresh on top of being served extremely quickly once ordered. Dessert was more than fairly portioned and a tasty way to end a delicious meal. A bit expensive overall but worth a splurge if you can afford it Dietary restrictions: Very clearly labeled use of ingredients per dish
Lovely restaurant and ambience. Seated outside on a Tuesday evening, it was very calm and a nice few of the moon on the water. Food was delicious, especially the pumpkin ravioli. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I will definitely be coming back.
