Our clinic strives to provide the best vet care possible, while still maintaining a personal approach. We are a family-run mixed animal practice meaning we care for all species from the size of a mouse through to a cow. We aim to provide an experienced, modern, professional and compassionate care for your pets and livestock at our veterinary hospital or on your farm

We only started to go to Ironmines Clinic 2 years ago upon recommendation of Kelston Country Kennels. Phil has been really helpful with managing our rescue boy and his issues. The staff are really lovely
Very happy, good to have a vet who really knows how to treat a cow. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They do great work and treat the animals kindly.
We recently lost both of our fur babies in the space of 36 hours. The staff at Ironmines Vet were incredibly kind and gentle and helped make this very sad and traumatic time a bit more bearable for us. Thank you.
I couldn't be happier with Ironmines Vet which was not our regular vet. Had to call late in the day to have Connor our 1 eyed shitzu seen to. It turned out to be an ulcer on his eye. The service and compassion was exceptional. Not to mention no bill shock at the end.
These Vets are brilliant, and are there for you 24/7. Nothing is too much trouble for them, even getting called in early one Sunday morning when my 5 month old puppy ate a rock. It is also obvious the Vet Nurses love their work, and the Clinic charges are more than reasonable.
Excellent service and a great team of vets and nurses who obviously care so much about their patients. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they were so professional and compassionate when it came time to put my elderly cat to sleep after a long battle with kidney failure..
I want to say a big thank you to the staff at Ironmines who recently helped my horse when she came down with colic. They were very supportive during a stressful time. Our dog also loves visiting the clinic when we bring him in for his vaccinations because he is given great attention as well as lots of treats and pats. Thank you Ironmines for treating all of our family pets!
Disgusted by lack of care for my dog who was brought here three times and pronounced fine by a bored vet. Clearly she was not fine as she soon after dropped dead at home. No word of sympathy from Ironmines. All they wanted was the money for her cremation and when I picked up her ashes they were shoved at me with a cherry ‘here you go’ by an uncaring receptionist. My worst experience of a vet world wide.
Ironmines Vet Clinic has a great team of experienced and friendly vets and nurses, who are passionate about animal care and wellbeing. They provide a variety of veterinary services to both small and large animals to suit your needs. You can definitely trust them to take excellent care of your pets.
Everyone is absolutely lovely, can't speak highly enough of them. We have two cats and Dr Phil Hazzard has been amazing in the experience and expertise he's offered.
