Beautiful and authentic Irish pub with friendly staff and excellent service. Super generous portions with the parmas being 375gm+! Great flavours too. The restaurant is filled with unique Irish memorabilia - maps, signs and more. Olden days design with wooden beams, flooring and arches throughout. Our new go-to while in Ballarat.
We made our way to Irish Murphy's after a local recommended the pub as a great watering hole. I am not joking, the food and service were fantastic. I want to especially mention Jordan and Kimmie who were so kind and thoughtful toward us after what can only be described as a very difficult day. It's people like these two who are the real face of hospitality. Kind ,kind people.Thank you all so much.
That the food came out timely. My mixed grill consisted of a small piece of steak, over cooked and dry. The irish sausage was just weird in flavor and texture and not something i would eat again. The rest of the dish consisted of half a fried tomato, bacon, fried egg and some button sauted mushrooms which were probably the highlight of the dish. Most of the mixed grill consisted of chips which were okay, but all in all a very lack lustre meal as were the rest of the meals we ordered Definitely would not be returning there for the food any time soon.
Brought my parents for lunch. Standard pub food menu with a good selection of beer on tap. Got to love the Guinness. Love the art decor and the whole quaint feeling of the pub.
Prices fair, food amazing, portion sizes massive, customer service top notch
Pros: Food was great! Basic hearty meals for reasonable prices. Cons: The bistro is dark and tacky. The tables were sticky. No one welcomed us, seated us or gave us menus, but the staff were nice when we spoke with them.
Absolutely beautiful food, wonderful friendly staff beautiful atmosphere.
Great experience. Wondered in at 3pm. Meals don’t start until 6pm. Chef said he’d fire up the gear for us to make us meals. Great hospitality, good selection of beers and hearty, well portioned tasty meals.
Most amazing Parma's. Irish curry one was brilliant. Great atmosphere.Food: 5/5
The food was immaculate! The staff made me laugh and held a great conversation. Definitely recommend here!!
