Hudsons Coffee

Stopped in on a weekday at 2:30 for drinks and a sandwich and spinach and ricotta roll. Ricotta roll and coffee were ok, but the cheese sandwich was soggy in the middle and had no cheese so it was just buttered bread. Berry cheesecake frappe was also sub-par and didn't have much flavour at all. On top of this we ate in and over the speakers was playing loud children's music. Quite literally toddler tunes describing how to "go potty" and prepare for school with intermittent giggles and laughs. There were no kids or families in sight and it felt quite inappropriate for a quiet afternoon coffee. Staff were nice but also seemed very bored and this showed in their service. Sorry to be a downer, but I won't be back any time soon unless things change drastically.

Service was good. Not impressed with the level my tall cappucino was filled to. Just above the halfway line. The cost of living is on the rise as it is without being "shortchanged".

i go to hudson’s every day for my coffee at smoko and am always met with a smile and the best service! couldn’t recommend highly enough

Only giving a 1 star for how clean the place was. Everytime I try coffee from here it always disappoints me. Always someone new working and they probably arent getting trained properly. The last 2 times ive gone in, the coffee was burnt and on top of that, i was either given the wrong milk or it was off.

Come all the way from the city to have a weekend at Ballarat. Visit here to get a coffee and staff were so rude. The coffee so disappointed taste so bad.

Always lovely. Nice staff, clean tables ,& great food. Even decaf coffee tastes great, can't say that everywhere Thanks Guys keep up the great work.

Terrible service, disgusting food. All sandwiches and croissants are microwaved then half-heartedly toasted in a sandwich press. The results were half soggy/ half toasted. Awful coffee. I'd give it a minus star if possible

Great place to chill out with a coffee and cake. Perfect for before, during and after shopping. The couches are so comfortable. I could've slept on them
