Just want to say what a wonderful young man Ashton from the Currajong store is . Not only was he polite and professional he was very helpful and full of knowledge when it came to choosing a running shoe for me . He gave me options and found the perfect fit for me . Your manager is lucky to have such a great worker as part of the INTERSPORT team .
I am no longer a customer of Intersport - here’s why.nnBriefly, I bought two pairs of Nike Pegasus 41’s discounted at InterSport Townsville in mid 2025 one in May and one in June – both US size 9. I tried on the first pair in store fitted well but I made the mistake of not immediately trying on the second pair. The second pair which subsequently turned out to be about half a size larger hence too big. As it turns out, the shoes were manufactured in different countries; the first pair in Indonesia and the second in Vietnam. By the time that I discovered the size problem, I was beyond the return time on the purchase with InterSport Currajong, Townsville and was told by the store manager that there was nothing that they were prepared to do.nnTake home message #1 – always try every pair of shoes on in store. The same model and the same nominal size of shoes can differ substantially in real size even in the same store.nTake home message #2 – Nike has poor quality control, and so does Intersport.nnRebel Sport does price matching, so I am no longer an InterSport Customer, and I don’t intend buying Nike products in future.
My brother and I were looking around the store when we were approached by a young store worker named Cohen. Cohen was very knowledgeable about most items and enjoyed a sense of humour. Although we purchased nothing on this occasion we will make sure Cohen get benefit of any item we buy,. Excellent communication skills by Cohen is the main reason we will return to purchase.
They have lots of options for everything but sunscreen! Only one option for that! Made me laugh. Great customer service from everyone also! Thanks!!
