Laileen was our property manager and has been amazing. She always ensured we had good quality tenants into our apartments and attended to maintenance issues quickly and efficiently. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Impression and would use again.

If you are looking for a rental, keep away from them! 1) I was given the key on Friday. In the evening when I arrived in the evening after work to discover that I don't have the access activated. I had arranged to have my belonging brought over the weekend. No one at the agency tried to sort that mess. So called "letting-in agent" next week found it amusing; 2) They force the tenants to set up the direct debit and without properly communicating increase the rent; 3) Rude, careless, indifferent... I had been renting with a few agencies, and I haven't seen anything like this.

Very professional and well organised, with a wide variety of rental properties to chose from. Plus - Laileen and Tina were always helpful and very quick with their responses. Shame we couldn't stay longer... but maybe in the future, who knows?

Shocking, simply shocking! It's taken me a couple of months to write this review because I couldn't bring myself to even think about what I went through with this agency. I was told an unbelievable amount of lies, and not just by one agent. My husband and I were the first tenants to live in our apartment in the newly built Queens Residence, and we loved it. Upon moving out, we received a phone call from our agent with a list of things we would have to pay for including a cleaner (apartment was pristine) a new mattress protector, possibly replace a table because a small stain and the repair of a piece of damage on a wall using a wall hanger they recommended. The main issue was regarding a small piece of damage on the wall caused when I removed a strip holding a picture to the wall. She insisted I violated my contract by hanging the picture and that by causing the damage, I was liable. I explained multiple times my contract stated I could hang a picture using that wall hanger and that the damage was not intentional as explained to me by the tenancy tribunal and I was not liable. I asked if the landlord had insurance to which I couldn't get a straight answer. I called a manager who then told me that either way I'd be liable for the 'excess fee' of $300 which was a lie, shocking! I called the tenancy tribunal multiple times, and they explained in detail the reasons why I did not owe Impression a penny from my bond. I've lost count how many conversations I had with her regarding the definition of intentional damage vs accidental damage. It became so ridiculous that when she eventually realised my contract stated I could hang the picture, she told me my contract didn't state that I should have taken it down therefore making me liable. Some of the responses I received were beyond ridiculous. She even told me to stop calling the tribunal because they 'confuse' things. My advice is to call the tribunal and know your rights. Also, stand up for yourself and don't allow them to bully you. I was prepared to take them to the tribunal because there was no way I was giving them a penny. Eventually, they dropped it and gave back my bond. I'm still shocked at the total lack of professionalism I witnessed. It's clear they rely on tenants not knowing their tenancy rights and most likely many tenants go home to their own countries and lose a lot of their bond needlessly because they're not in a position to fight and made the mistake of trusting Impression.

My apartment was managed by Impression. Although the agent i dealt with in their office was nice there were some SERIOUS issues with this company (see items 2 and 3 in particular). 1. The person responsible for inspecting the apartment did not insure it was adequately cleaned between tenancies. 2. When I decided to shift management groups and did an inspection of my newly vacated apartment, I found obvious damage that had not been listed on the Impression inspection sheet (I immediately contacted Impression re holding the bond, so the tenant's damage could be repaired). If you are an apartment owner please note *the inspection sheet you receive may not truthfully reflect the condition of your property*. 3. Since shifting management companies in November 2017 I have received spurious new invoices from Impression (as recently as March 2018) for work that was to be covered by the last tenant's bond (e.g. their damage to a wall) and odd items that clearly either did not take place, or were not authorized by me - these invoices were dated in 2018, whereas my apartment was shifted from Impression management in Nov 2017. 4. Other issues included ordering new furniture through Impression, which took more than 2 weeks to arrive (at a time when it was being marketed to lease), thus extending the vacancy period. Also their lack of attention to detail leading led to issues e.g. the undetected/reported the loss of my couch cover, etc. I do not recommend this company!
