The burgers are fresh and well presented but the store itself is another story. Cockroaches on the floor, food on the floor presenting major slip hazard. Lift your game HJ.nCockroaches have now gone.
What a lovely young lady on the front counter tonight. She offered us a copy of the meal deals, split a 10 pack of nuggets into two kids boxes and gave a toy even though we only ordered nuggets. The kids were exstatic. Thank you for going above and beyond. Your customer service was exceptional. Also, loved the team singing together in the back area. Its good to see you all enjoying yourselves. Only let down was the cleanliness of the store and bathrooms.
This particular Hungry Jack's used to be my favourite guilty pleasure. The service was enthusiastic, the food was hot and fresh, and I'd look forward to going there once a week because I think the franchise makes the best burgers. But I moved to a different part of Cairns and tried the one in Smithfield. They were awful, so I stopped going there.nnThen a couple of weeks ago I was out in Westcourt and grabbed a burger, but they got my order wrong. Disappointing but these things happen. Last night, I really felt like a nice whopper. I drove out of my way to this place and stood alone at the counter for about a minute while all the staff joked around and ignored me. Then someone took my order, but it took about 7 minutes to arrive. I sat down to eat it and saw a bite size piece was missing from my patty. They replaced it but that took another 5 minutes. By then, my fries were all gone. It just wrecked the experience. I never got the feeling anyone was bothered that the whole experience of eating there is now a huge disappointment. But at least I'm cured of my Hungry Jack's addiction. It was nice while it lasted, guys.
Big thanks to the beautiful Sarah who was so patient and kind today and helped me out because my app wasn’t working. I didn’t know that I was entitled to a free drink as well but she made sure that hubby and I were looked after. Thank you Sarah for your help and beautiful smile
Once a week I order from here. Every time the order is wrong. Or they send the wrong burger, it comes colder than your ex hearts or IT COMES WITH PICKLES!!! Which I’m allergic to. I’m tired of doing a claim on Uber eats or DoorDash after a bad order from here. It starting to get me really mad at Hungry Jacks. It used to be my favorite but I’m tired of being disappointed over and over. Is it too hard to put a correct order?
