This is to thank a lovely person in a white 4WD Dodge with a number plate that starts with 062 that was in front of me and paid for my meal at the Martyn St McDonald's today the 30/10/2024. BIG HUGS are sent to you. May you have lots of special things done for you. Thank you again x
Food and coffee takes a little longer than expected. Dining room fairly clean, although dirty floors and some tables as well.nFood was of average quality this visit.nStaff were very friendly though, which is great.nCame in with a group of people and plenty of tables to sit at.
This McDonalds met my expectations in food quality and service.nnI want to give credit to this franchise and its staff who provided excellent service and maintained the McD standard despite a cyclone.nnThis franchise was one of the last restaurants in Cairns to close before the cyclone and one of the first restaurants to reopen after the cyclone mostly passed. Even though it was still raining hard outside workers performed their duties without pause.
Not normally one to leave a negative review but the young girl working the drive through around 8AM on the 03/07/24 was just so rude and clearly should be looking for a job that doesn’t involve customer interaction. Had a negative attitude ++ which came across through the speaker box like our order was inconveniencing her, and was even ruder at the window when we paid for our order. She didn’t even bother greeting us at the payment window, just holding out the eftpos machine and then jutting her chin out to tell us to move forward when the payment went through. The young girl at the food collection window however, was lovely and provided great, friendly service. The 1st young girl could learn something from her colleague.
Honestly I wish I could give zero. They ignored everyone there, 5 other people were in the store trying to order and were all getting ignored, there was no one in drive through They were standing around doing absolutely nothing and all I wanted was to get hot water to heat up a baby bottle and I wait 5 to 10 mins for any sort of acknowledgement there was none just ignored me and everyone else, disappointing .Honestly there are alot of other maccas around in Cairns please go somewhere else. Honestly the laziest maccas out there. I see why they got bad reviews.
