We recently held our toddler's party at Hotel CBD and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The team was incredibly accommodating, easy to deal with, and so patient throughout the whole process.nnA special mention to Chef Liz for the cake — it was exceptional. Homemade onsite! Makes life so much easier. So moist and absolutely perfect for a kids’ party, not overly sweet at all, just spot on.nnThe day itself was flawless from start to finish. We honestly can’t fault a thing and would highly recommend Hotel CBD for any celebration.nnThank you, David and the rest of the morning staff that Saturday morning. They were sooooo amazing! Made us so happy and relaxed.
We went to the kids cupcake decorating event and it was really wonderful.nThe chef was very kind and attentive so my daughter had a great time.nWe were also surprised that the event was free.nAbove all, the cupcakes were absolutely delicious.
We held my daughters 4th birthday here on the weekend, the children had a wonderful time and everything was so easy for me as a parent, the lovely staff handled all decorations, party bags and entertaining, I only had to turn up! Was very reasonably priced as well and has a fantastic kids room, I would highly recommend.nnWe also took advantage of the in house pastry chef Liz to make the birthday cake, it was amazing honestly could not fault it, and for $60 was an absolute bargain!nnCould not recommend the venue more highly for a function! I also held my 30th birthday hear a few years ago and had a great experience then too.
Fantastic service by Kylie today. Any question food intolerance answered with a smile and patience. Food came out quick enough and good value. They also have daily specials.
The food was amazing, but the service completely ruined the experience. The older woman with the New Zealand accent was beyond rude. She made us feel unwelcome the entire time. Every time she walked past our table she glared at us like we were an inconvenience.nnShe was also openly complaining to a younger employee about having to be at work, which was unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness.nnWhat made it even worse was the way she treated locals compared to us. It was night and day. She was friendly to others, but we were made to feel like we didn’t belong.nnWe were planning to bring our team in every Friday for lunch now that my husband has moved his office nearby. Not anymore. If this is the service you can expect, we won’t be returning.
